  1. I have updated the clip collection with 749 new clips for the U.S. Region. If you are running the FS-ATC-Chatter 1.2.1 player it should detect the update and give you the opportunity to download those new clips. Mark
  2. It should and ultimately that is the simplest solution. Ideally it might be good if FS-ATC-Chatter could automatically detect its presence and ask you if you want to use it. That way there would be no need to run the Navdata reader and copy files all over the place. The other option is to have FS-ATC-Chatter build its own COM database by reading the FS2020 scenery files. I know that is super complicated and getting it to work across FSX, P3D, and MSFS 2020 would be a headache. I can see that the author of LNM put a lot of effort into that aspect of the tool and I would prefer not to have to reinvent that.
  3. Per our email exchange it looks like the database generated from the Navdata reader was corrupted for some reason. As we discussed it looks like to just getting a copy of the LittleNavMap database and putting in the FS-ATC-Chatter root folder with the right names seems to be working properly. Mark
  4. Thanks, That database you sent look corrupted, I don't the Navadata Reader tool worked properly. The log had a bunch of errors too. I have you a few suggestions to try. I might need to update my MSFS install and try running the latest Navdata Reader myself just to make sure it is still working. Mark
  5. @SuperKaro2014 Great, keep us informed about what you find. Mark
  6. When you ran the Navdata Reader tool did you get any errors? If you look at the log file you can see that the default database had 35,942 facilities which sounds right but the navdata-MsFs.sqlite file only had 4,221. It is missing lots of airports. Did you use the latest version of the Navdata Reader Tool, 1.0.28? https://github.com/albar965/navdatareader/releases 2022-05-20 19:02:41.394 +02:00 [INF] Loading facilities from C:\Users\mail\Desktop\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Addons\FS-ATC-Chatter 1.2.1\navdata-default.sqlite 2022-05-20 19:02:41.503 +02:00 [INF] Found 34635 clips total 2022-05-20 19:02:41.873 +02:00 [INF] 35942 facilities found 2022-05-20 19:05:01.330 +02:00 [INF] Loading facilities from C:\Users\mail\Desktop\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Addons\FS-ATC-Chatter 1.2.1\navdata-Msfs.sqlite 2022-05-20 19:05:01.331 +02:00 [INF] Pausing chatter due to simulator pausing 2022-05-20 19:05:01.412 +02:00 [INF] 4221 facilities found
  7. I'd like to make sure that FS-ATC-Chatter is picking up a new database file. Can you post your latest log file from the FS-ATC-Chatter root folder. Also can you attach a screen shot of windows explorer show the date and time of all the *.sqlite files. You can send those to support@StickandRudderStudios.com as I don't think AVSIM.com allows you to attach zip files. Thanks Mark
  8. I have updated the clip collection with 451 new clips for the U.S. Region. If you are running the FS-ATC-Chatter 1.2.1 player it should detect the update and give you the opportunity to download those new clips. Mark
  9. I have updated the clip collection with 450 new clips for the U.S. Region. If you are running the FS-ATC-Chatter 1.2.1 player it should detect the update and give you the opportunity to download those new clips. Mark
  10. You are welcome. Anyone interested in being a volunteer should visit: https://www.stickandrudderstudios.com/x-atc-chatter-project/ Mark

  12. If you do not have X-Plane installed then the best way to get clips updates is to download the free FS-ATC-Chatter player: https://www.stickandrudderstudios.com/fs-atc-chatter-sample-collection-and-demo/ You will need to copy the Regions folder from your X-ATC-Chatter purchased over to the root folder of FS-ATC-Chatter so that it sees you have purchased the full clip set as the above link just has the 400+ free demo clips. Once you have done that you can run FS-ATC-Chatter.exe and it will detect the new clips and allow you to download them. Once downloaded you can copy them over to Pilot2ATC. Mark
  13. It is actually easy but the real issue is that when you get into large regions like Europe and Asia what you really want is to get down to the country. We have that data in the clips but the clip collection is still fairly sparse by country. Part of the reason for that is that the feeds on LiveATC.net are not all good quality in every country so the volunteers tend to find a good feed in a region and then they collect a lot of clips from that one location. I add the ability to select clips by country / ICAO code in X-ATC-Chatter but I'm not sure how much it is getting used. We can certainly consider adding that to FS-ATC-Chatter but I fear it won't be great until we can get better clip coverage in each country. By the way, if you are interested in helping collect clips visit this page: https://www.stickandrudderstudios.com/x-atc-chatter-project/ Mark
  14. I have updated the clip collection with 630+ new clips across multiple regions. If you are running the FS-ATC-Chatter 1.2.1 player it should detect the update and give you the opportunity to download those new clips. Mark
  15. I was originally posting update zip files in your Gumroad, Sim Market, or your X-Plane.org accounts but that was pretty tedious and frankly very confusing to users. Using the players for the updates made it easy for users. One of the things I can discuss with Dave (the developer of Pilot2ATC) is providing him with a C# library for Pilot2ATC so he could do the update directly in Pilot2ATC. Mark
  16. Excellent, I was pretty sure it would work, it is the same database format. Mark
  17. Barry, The best way to do that is to install the FS-ATC-Chatter player. Run it and allow it to update the clips then shut down the FS-ATC-Chatter player. The copy the Regions from the FS-ATC-Chatter root folder over to their home in Pilot2ATC per the tutorial video. Mark
  18. I think that will work fine although I have not tried it. I assume you are going to copy the LNM database over the the FS-ATC-Chatter root folder and rename it the way FS-ATC-Chatter expects, right? Let us know how it works. Mark
  19. I have updated the clip collection with 450+ new clips across multiple regions. If you are running the FS-ATC-Chatter 1.2.1 player it should detect the update and give you the opportunity to download those new clips. Mark
  20. I have updated the clip collection with 950+ new clips across multiple regions. If you are running the FS-ATC-Chatter 1.2.1 player it should detect the update and give you the opportunity to download those new clips. Mark
  21. I have updated the clip collection with 450 new clips in the U.S. If you are running the FS-ATC-Chatter 1.2.1 player it should detect the update and give you the opportunity to download those new clips. Mark
  22. I have updated the clip collection with 440 + new clips across the U.S. and Canada. If you are running the FS-ATC-Chatter 1.2.1 player it should detect the update and give you the opportunity to download those new clips. Mark
  23. Not yet but it is something we can potentially add. Mark
  24. Yes it is. I have a request into Asobo to open an API so FS-ATC-Chatter can know when MSFS ATC is talking so it can pause the chatter. I have no idea when or if they will get to that request. Mark
  25. How many times has that happened? @DylanM Mark
