Hi everyone, I fly FSX on a Macbook Pro Retina 15" on Windows Bootcamp. Everything works fine and I get decent FPS, yet I have an issue with sound. The music overlaying the main page stutters and breaks, and the voiceovers for the missions do the same. All other sounds (such as aircraft noises and such) work fine. Please can someone help me out?

Hi guys, I was wondering from those of you who have FTX Global what it's like at 30/40K feet? Can you notice a difference and get benefit from flying that high? Of course I know it won't be the same as low level flying but is it still awesome? Thanks

Hey guys, I have recently installed FSX to my brand new Macbook Pro Retina on a legit copy of Windows running on Botocamp. When I tried to make some tweaks (from the AVSIM Hardware/Software guide 2013) I seemed to have missing areas in the cfg file which should be there but aren't. When I tried to use Venetubo's ******* tweaks it said my cfg was not a native FSX file.Does anyone know how I can solve this? Oh well that is interesting...The Orbx freeware ran fine on my system but the FlyTampa demo was really poor...can anyone recommend the PMDG 747 - is it better FPS wise than the CS 757 because that runs fine on my system!

Hello, This is just a quick question; would it be worth me buying Orbx YMML v2 with these specs: Intel i5760 at 2.8 gHz 750gb hard drive 8gb RAM ATI Radeon HD 5450 I can reach in the region of 24 FPS at most high detail FSX airports with 70% WOAI traffic (worse at Heatrow but that only drops to 16-19 at the very worst). Most of the time I limit it at 30 FPS, which works. Thank you very much to you all, Maszario57

Hello all at AVSIM, After receiving FSX some time ago on my new compiter, I have come to realise that my clouds just do not work. I can, however, seem to use Cirrus clouds when using adavanced weather, but any other clouds cause a huge drop in FPS - cirrus clouds don't touch the FPS. I was woindering whether having REX 2.0 would be the solution? I have a Dell Inspiron 580, with an Intel i5760 at 2.80 ghz (not overclocked), 750gb hardrive, 8gb RAM and an ATI Radeon HD 5450. I am sure my graphics drive is the issue, but I ma wondering whether using REX instead of the FSX default weather would improve my FPS. Thanks to all, Maszario57
