  1. Bryan, Thank you for the reply. The audio software that came with my laptop (Nahimic) seems to be the culprit - exiting that before starting the simulator fixes the issue.
  2. I'm running a fresh install of P3D v3.3, the latest PMDG 777 and the latest FS2CREW. All downloaded fresh from their respective vendors. The problem is that voice control in FS2CREW is not working - whenever I speak, the system does not hear me. No green bar and the first officer or FA does not respond. I have gone through the setup with Windows speech recognition, and that system understands me just fine during voice training and testing. I have already completely uninstalled and reinstalled FS2CREW multiple times and I have checked my speech log file - everything was successful. Also, whenever I try to reset the audio system inside FS2CREW (which has served me well in the past), it locks up P3D which then must be closed and restarted. The same thing happens when I try to disable voice control in FS2CREW. I should note that the same issue happens with FS2CREW NGX Reboot. Any ideas? I've searched the internet and forums and no suggestion has helped so far.
  3. Thanks, but my PMDG weather folder is already empty. The weather process and datalink still works fine if I manually load the 777-generated WX file to FSX (Active Sky Next then loads a corresponding flight plan and generates the necessary data for the 777 datalink function). The next step would be a complete FSX reinstall, but I may hold off on that given that it still can work, just not automatically.
  4. Thank you for the suggestion. It didn't work for me. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the 777 with no luck either. I did find another thread on the PMDG forum with other users reporting similar, if not the same, issue. It appears to be a problem with the most recent 777 update from PMDG, and it looks like they are aware of the problem. Just FYI in case the issue comes back for you.
  5. I am having the same issue with a slight variation. It sounds like the same root issue though. My PMDG 777 is configured to load the current flight plan into FSX:SE. However, a plan from several weeks ago is loaded into the sim every time. This problem has started occurring recently and was working correctly before.
