This's a modest sized release by recent HJG standards but one which is non-the-less composed of some interesting, colourful, and historic aircraft subjects .... whilst work continues with the advancing of other projects slotted for 2024 release. For further information concerning these latest HJG offerings refer to the groups following forum announcement ..... "HJG New Files Releases - April 2024" https://tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/10543/files-releases-april-15th-2024 All this .... and a whole lot more is available for "FREE" download from the HJG website located at the following address : HISTORIC JETLINERS GROUP (HJG) https://simviation.com/hjg MRC HJG/Historic Jetliners Group

  4. No it doesn't. It's supported by "very advanced" and functional 2D panels "customized for each DC-10 aircraft type version" One needs to be sure to apply the correct panel version to the correct corresponding DC-10 base pack version as related within the forum based HJG DC-10 manual Project's also supported by HQ customized GE CF6, GE CFG-50, and P&W JT9D sound packs and FDE's similarly customized for each DC-10 version to. The HJG offering is in fact "quite the freeware DC-10 project" and is both FS9 and FSX compatible.
  5. The HJG offered MERCURE 100 by Mario NORIEGA "is not" intended for use with (and by implication is not compatible with) P3D HJG offered products are FS9 and FSX compatible only
  6. "As explained on the HJG forum" Adding GPS NAV would require alterations to AP coding within the B727 panels and possibly supporting editing among some of the FDE related files too It's not so straightforward as just adding a GPS HJG's B727 panels reflect the pre-GPS era
  7. All lighting on the HJG offered (CANTU/ex SGA and modified) DC-10 models is fine as evidenced below DC-10-10 DC-10-15 DC-19-30 DC-10-40 DC-10-40D DC-10-40D All released since 2015. All files are "complete" - base packs, textures, sound packs for all engine types (FS9 and FSX specific audio), and panels (for all DC-10 types) are provided and no service packs necessary All files are FS9 and FSX compatible too
  8. "HJG's 2ND SUMMERTIME RELEASE - JULY 2023 NEW FILE OFFERINGS". HJG (Historic Jetliners Group) has pleasure announcing its 2nd summertime release. This release is composed of some 30X "NEW" textures for the ARJ/BAe 146, B727, B737, BAC ONE-ELEVEN, DC-9, DC-10, L-1011 TRISTAR, and MD-80/90 virtual flight line currently offered by HJG and for both FS2004 and FSX. Textures subjects included within this particular release represent scheduled PAX/freight and discount/charter operators from Belgium, Canada, Ireland, Luxemburg, Mexico, Sicily, Spain, Surinam, Sweden, the UK, and the USA/Hawaiian Islands .... featuring both past and current definitive as well as hybrid liveries from the late 1960's, the 70's, 80's, and 90's eras, and throughout 2000's and until this present time too .... and among which the transitional liveries of a major UK operator between the late 60's and early 80's for BAC ONE-ELEVEN's, the latest B737-300 SCD acquisition by a prominent Canadian cargo operator, the aviation wing of a major cruise line, one of a dwindling number of B727-200F ADV freighters still operating within the USA today, a DC-9-40 operated by a short-lived Swedish startup carrier around the commencement of this millennium, along with a "concept livery" for what might have become a Russian operated L-1011-1 which might have come to fruition during the early 1970's had international politics not conspired to prevent it doing so. This's another small release by HJG standards but one typically composed of colour, variety .... and above all "HISTORY" too and which is precisely what the "H" in "HJG" stands for. This latest selection of FS2004 and FSX offerings, along with a whole lot more too, is currently and "FREELY" available for download from HJG at the following website address .... Upgraded files within this release relate the DMFS BAC ONE-ELEVEN, DH COMET, HS TRIDENT, and VC10 panels (hosted by HJG) .... each of which now feature George CARTY's "functional" WX Radar Set .... among all other fixes applied to these simulations by HJG (since 2021) in order to improve their performance and promote "proper FSX portability" whilst not departing from DM's own concept in regard to how he intended these panels to look and function. 13. For any FS2004 and FSX users whom may be interested .... "HJG 23rd Anniversary Birthday Mega-Release" HJG (Historic Jetliners Group) has pleasure announcing a mega-release in celebration of its 23rd anniversary/birthday. This's also HJG's first release for the 2023 year. This latest release is composed of some 270 "NEW" and "UPGRADED" textures for the ARJ/BAe 146, B707, B717-200, B720, B727, B737, BAC ONE-ELEVEN, C-135 SERIES, CV990, DC-8, DC-9, DC-10, L-1011 TRISTAR, MD-80/90 virtual flight line "freely" offered by HJG and for both FS2004 and FSX. If previous HJG's releases have previously earned a reputation for being reflective of both time and aviation history, then, this latest release must go down in group history as being "a particularly colourful league of nations" in respect of its geographic/regional aircraft content .... featuring some of the greatest as well as least known among the worlds oldest/most classic and newest civil and military operators, supported by liveries ranging from the mid-1960's until the present day .... among which a number of celebratory and historic hybrid, split identity, and even fictional retro liveries are also included .... along with "A WHOLE LOT MORE". 16. Again I don't want to bother Bob/AVSIM Admin with another HJG specific PR whilst this one from May is still prominently visible (any problems Bob just drop me a PM) ;) Just want to advise though .... the HJG website was updated again yesterday with another 66X new files covering the B727-100/200, B737-300/400/500, BAC ONE-ELEVEN 400/500 (DMFS), DC-9-10/40/50, DC-10-10CF/F (MD-10F), HS121 TRIDENT 1/2E (DMFS), L-1011 TRISTAR 1, and MD-82. All freely available .... as per the following linked announcement .... https://tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/10216/hjg-website-update-november-2022
  17. I don't want to bother the AVSIM Admin team with yet another HJG PR whilst this last one, from 3 months ago, is still conspicuous (no desire to monopolize the visable commmunity news space more than necessary) .... but for whatever it's worth HJG have, today, just released another 76X new textures for the B727, B737, BAC ONE-ELEVEN, BAe 146, DC-8, DC-9, DC-10, DH COMET, L-1011 TRISTAR, and MD-90 models it hosts .... https://tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/10190/website-update-august-25th-2022?page=1&scrollTo=71291
  18. A small number of "upgraded/further improved" files were released by HJG yesterday .... July 29th 2022. These may viewed per the following link .... https://tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/10178/mini-website-update-july-28th
  19. Glad you're obviously enjoying the MERCURE 100 .... it is indeed very technically inclined simulation of a unique/rare airliner. 2 separate versions of it are offered .... one specifically for FS9 use only .... and the other for specifically FSX use only. P3DV4 portability (I won't say compatibility) is "a surprise" because AFAIK such was "unintended" .... so I reserve my commentary in regard to P3D and more-so since HJG can't provide P3D support. Important to credit this MERCURE 100 simulation to "Mario NORIEGA" .... and not HJG :) HJG did assist Mario with some elements of this/his simulation (namely FDE, sound, and WX Radar), but, it's otherwise "entirely Mario's simulation" .... and which HJG hosts for him and by consent 😉
  20. That's "not" entirely correct. Some HJG simulations may (possibly) still work in FS2002, but, others (be their panels/gauges/modules and/or textures) "most certainly won't". Just to clarify these FS related compatibilities .... HJG simulations are FS2004 "native" with most also now being FSX "portable" .... as per the following-linked list .... https://tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/8910/fsx-compatible-portable In any case HJG "does not" now provide FS2002 support. I was also recently informed "some of" (not all of) the HJG simulations may in fact be P3D "V3" (only .... definitely not V4 or later though) portable too, but, not yet having seen evidence of, or being able to properly assess this "for myself", I say such "WITH RESERVATION".
  21. That's correct. HJG is an FS2004 hangar ... with most of it offering also being FSX portable also.
  22. For those interested .... HJG have just (today/as of a few minutes ago) added another 12X textures to their December/Christmas 2019 release .... featuring an assortment of "new" B707, B727, DC-8, DC-9, and MD-80 textures which didn't make the groups large release of "DECEMBER 14TH". For further information refer to the following HJG website announcement .... http://tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/9614/website-update-december-29th-2019 MRC HJG
  23. All files are FS9 compatible .... with FSX portability too .... as stated within the release announcement
  24. Time and opportunity have been in HJG's favor lately .... and it's for this reason the group's been able to add the following additional textures for its "NEW" B737-300/400/500 project since it was recently realeased for Christmas .... B737-300 - ADAM AIR 2007 - CANADIAN NOTHY (CFK logo jet hybrid) 2015 - DELTA AIR LINES 1987 B737-500 - SKYSERVICE 2017 - TURKISH AIRLINES 2002 For more informationm concerning these latest and additional texture releases .... and groups "NEW" HJG B737-300/400/500 project generally .... along with its "NEW" and recently released MERCURE 100 project (by NOrIEGA DESIGNS) also .... kindly refer to the following HJG forum linked announcement/s http://tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/8796/hjg-website-update-december-2017?page=3&scrollTo=60322 Mark C HJG AKL/NZ & BOG/CO
  25. HJG are predominantly an FS2004 based website though most of it's products (barring a few) are FSX portable, but, it does not design for the P3D platform. In the case of these new B733/4/5 models they are indeed FSX portable but their forward air stairs animation (based on the FS2004 CONCORDE visor commands .... which are different in FSX) will not work in FSX. This (and a great deal more) is actually covered within the groups forum based online manual for these new B733/4/5 simulations ;)
