HJG 26th Anniversary - Big "LITTLE BOEING" Release ("PART 2") Following its APR 9 2006 introduction of the B737-100 (in both original and post 1970 engine nacelle form) .... and which additionally included B737-200 (also featuring both original and later engine nacelles too), along with both pre-ADV B737-200 and pre-ADV B737-200C; HJG, on APR 30 2026, launched "PART 2" of it's "NEW AND EXPANDED" B737 ORIGINALS flight line line featuring both B737-200 ADV and B737-200C ADV .... in ongoing celebration of the B737 TYPES first flight (of APR 9 1967) and HJG's 26th anniversary during this same APR month. These new B737 offerings each represent "ENTIRELY NEW AND FAR SUPERIOR" simulations compatible with FS2004 and FSX .... and among which a multiplicity of different aircraft configurations are represented (among which some have not been previously represented by HJG). HJG again expresses its sincere gratitude to Erick CANTU for what he's labored to produce, for HJG to host, and offer for "FREE" enjoyment by the international FS community .... "THANKS ONCE AGAIN ERICK"😉 This 2nd and celebratory HJG release for APR 2026 is also composed of "NEW" textures .... featuring a selection of 14X classic airline/operator liveries from Canada, Germany, the USA/Hawaii and UK for the B737-100 EARLY, B737-100, B737-200 EARLY, pre-ADV B737-200 and B737-200 ADV specifically .... all covering the late 1960's, 70's, 80's, and 90's era and among which a rare hybrid livery is also included. 2. Ninguna problema Luis 😉
Somehow I can't find either the 737-100 or the -200 one in the Downloads section. I can only see from the -300
For reasons beyond HJG's control (staff resource primarily) since APR 2023 all new release HJG files must be download per links provided within the actual forum announcements .... APR 9 2026 RELEASES https://tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/10810/hjg-files-releases-april-2026 APR 30 2026 RELEASES https://tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/10824/files-releases-april-30th-2026 Download links for all of these files are then much later (after a few months/despues algunas meses) transferred to our complete forum downloads section .... HJG LATEST FILE RELEASES (forum downloads section) https://tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/board/40/hjg-latest-file-releases Download links for all files released before/antes APR 2023 remain within the official Downloads section of the HJG website .... but "updated" version of some of these files are more recently available within the above-linked HJG LATEST FILE RELEASES (forum downloads section). This is not the best system, but, it's simply the result of circumstance beyond our control and is the only way we can continue to operate (since APR 2023). It's a very easy system to used once it's understood and one becomes "adapted to it". If you experience any problems/difficulties .... then "see me" at HJG (but you'll need to register and post on the HJG forum .... because we don't provide support on exterior forums) and I'll be happy to try to help you out .... con mucho gusto 😉 Mark C HJG AKL/NS & BOG/CO
 3. HJG 26th Anniversary - Big "LITTLE BOEING" Release Few might have been aware .... but .... "APRIL 9TH" represented a date of major historic significance on the real world aviation calendar. On this particular date .... back in 1967 .... the B737 (in SERIES 100 form) first flew and what's since become a civil aviation legend was then born. As a matter of pure co-incidence this date also marked HJG's (HISTORIC JETLINERS GROUP) 26th anniversary of service to the international FS community too. Therefore on "APRIL 9TH" HJG was proud to announce introduction of the "B737-100" as an extension to its established virtual B737 ORIGINAL's and CLASSIC's flight line .... this particular HJG release having been "intentionally planned" to coincide with the date of both events. This release not only see's "quality freeware B737-100 models" becoming available for FS9 and FSX for the very first time .... but .... also includes "PART 1" of a 2-part complete upgrade of HJG's SEP 2023 established B737-200 flight line too. HJG have the efforts of highly-talented 3D modeler Erick CANTU to thank for this "NEW AND EXPANDED" product line. These new B737 offerings aren't further iterations of Erick's original FFX and VISTALINER models (first produced during the early 2000's), but rather, each represent "ENTIRELY NEW AND FAR SUPERIOR" compilations .... among which a multiplicity of different aircraft configurations have been applied .... and which are supported by a selection of some 23X high-quality textures representing historic airline/operator liveries produced especially for these same "NEW" models by the equally highly-talented HJG painting team. HJG expresses its sincere thanks and appreciation to Erick CANTU for what he's labored to produce, for HJG to host, and offer for enjoyment of the international FS community .... "THANK YOU ERICK" 😉 These 26th anniversary offerings are HJG's first for 2026 .... this particular release being composed of a total of some 109X "NEW" and upgraded files for its virtual B727-100, B737-100/200/300/400, CV990-A, DC-8-30/50/61/62/63/72/73, DC-9-20/30/40, DC-10-30, COMET IXB, and MD-81/82/83 flight line. The textures component alone of this latest HJG release represents an impressive assortment of both classic and modern liveries" which might otherwise best be described as "a colourful league of nations if not a reflection upon both time and aviation history" .... among which scheduled, charter, freight, and military service aircraft/operators are each represented by definitive, hybrid, and celebratory liveries from the 1950's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's until relatively recent times .... and among which a small number of retro-type "FANTASY" liveries are also included too. For further information concerning these latest HJG offerings refer to the groups following "APR 9TH 2025" forum announcement ..... https://tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/10810/hjg-files-releases-april-2025 All this .... and a great deal more .... is available for "FREE" download from the HJG website located at the following address .... https://simviation.com/hjg/ Mark C HJG
 4. "HJG DECEMBER/CHRISTMAS 2025 NEW RELEASES" It's that time of year again. Time for another HJG (Historic Jetliners Group) release .... to both conclude this current FS year as well the groups 25th year of service to the international FS community. Some 104 "NEW" files were released by HJG on DEC 20 .... composed of textures for its established virtual B727, B737, DC-10, L-1011 TRISTAR, and MD-80 flight lines, but, among which an extension to its B727-100 flight line (including Aircraft Base Packs/3D Models/FDE and supporting Panels/Gauges) .... along with the groups launching of an entirely new Classic Jetliner Project too and which is similarly supported with new Panel and Sound files. The bulk content of HJG's latest textures releases this time feature airline/operator liveries from Australia, Benin, Canada, Corsica, Costa Rica, Egypt, El Salvador, Ecuador, France, Honduras, Malaysia, Nicaragua, Panama, Turkey/Republic of Türkiye, the UK, and the USA .... featuring colourful classic/historic, definitive, rare hybrid, and some "WHAT IF" livery subjects too (that very nearly, but ultimately didn't, become a reality) covering the 1950's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's eras until this current time .... and among which an abundance of scheduled/charter operators, air freight carriers, military transports, and corporate/private/VIP aircraft are also each represented. 9. Only just seen this through being overseas for 3 months. Firstly .... the HJG B707's are FSX portable as are their panels too. A couple of "FSX based" videos demonstrating this fact .... All work fine in FSX "provided they're installed correctly" but which doesn't appear to be the case in this particular case .... otherwise there wouldn't be any issues at all. As stated on the HJG forum .... it's not practical for the group to provide tech support on other forums, so, the OP needs to go to the HJG forum, log-on, and present his query there. That's why this posting's only just been spotted .... the group can't possibly monitor everything everywhere else. In particular note the OP's above comment in regard to the Panel not working .... and from his description (some gauges missing and nothing else working) I wouldn't mind betting the OP's failed to install the essential and separate Panel Gauges/Core Files element of these simulations. If still around after all this time .... we invite the OP to post his query at HJG and could (likely) have saved him a lot of grief had he done so in the first instance 🙂 MRC
 10. "HJG JULY/SUMMERTIME SURPRISES RELEASE" As HJG's 25th anniversary celebrations (2000-2025) continue the group has pleasure announcing its July/Summertime and 3rd release for 2025 featuring some 143 "NEW" and "UPGRADED" files .... for the "FREE" enjoyment of FS2004 and FSX users. The bulk of this latest and large release is composed of textures for the HJG offered B727 (-100/-200), B737 (-200/-300/-400/-500), BAC ONE-ELEVEN (DMFS -400), DC-9 (-10/-30, MD-80 (-82/-83), and RJ-100 flight lines. If the content of past HJG releases has been touted as akin to "a colourful league of nations", then, such previous commentary might now be regaded as an understatement considering the content of this latest release .... within which civil operators from Australia, the Bahamas, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Cambodia/Kampuchea, Czechovslovakia, Colombia, Denmark, Ethiopia, Gambia, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Liberia, Lithuania, Mali, Morocco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal/Azores, Russia, Spain, Sudan, Tanzania, Thailand, the Ukraine, the UK, the USA/Hawaii, Venezuela, Yemen, former Yugoslavia, and Zambia are included .... and among which classic/historic, hybrid, and celebratory/promotional liveries for PAX, cargo, and corporate operators from the 1970's, 80's, 90's, and throughout 2000's until this present day are each authentically represented. 3X "UPGRADED" liveries are being offered too .... thus rendering these re-released textures "SUPERIOR" to their original file versions. 3X "NEW" and livery dictated aircraft base packs are also included among these latest HJG offerings as well .... to ensure some of the texture content included within this latest release is better supported by specific aircraft type/configuration variations for greater fidelity .... "in so far as such is practiceable within the finite limitations imposed by FS". For further information concerning these latest HJG offerings refer to the groups following forum announcement .... https://tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/10704/files-releases-june-30th-2025 All this .... along with "a great deal more" is available for "FREE" download from the HJG website located at the following address : HISTORIC JETLINERS GROUP (HJG) https://simviation.com/hjg MRC HJG/Historic Jetliners Group

The oringinal HJG DC-9 Aircraft Base Packs were both FS2004 and FSX compatible as has also always been the case with regard to their supporting customized DC-9 type P&W JT8D sound packs too (separate FS9 and FSX specific audio offerings) .... BUT .... the original HJG DC-9 Panels were only ever FS2004 compatible. Be advised the "new/upgraded" DC-9 panels included within this latest HJG release are now both "FS2004 and FSX compatible". As part of their upgrading some not previously represented features are also now included within these "new/upgraded" DC-9 panels too.
