Love to be able to update to the latest version, but FS2crew keeps sending me around in circles. I'm in my account and requesting a download and it keeps telling me to do it through my account. I am IN my account and it doesn't give me any info on what to do next. Somebody please help - thanks. Don

Hi Pete, yep I checked my HIGHMEMFIX=1 and all good, wish it hadn't been, might have fixed my problem. The missing textures normally occur at the end of a one hour flight say Sydney to Bris in my Aerobus A318, it's the only (fairly) long haul a/c I have right now. Often the airport is blacked out so no runway and I can't land. Really frustrating. Don

No not ticked, and I'm running DX9. Until the crash, I was having less trouble with my old system on Win 8.1. My Tech fitted a new HDD and set it up to run on Win 8, he said it was closest to Win7 and would be the best and nothing else runs on that drive only FSX. I'm questioning his decision now.

Hi Guys, I'm in the throws of a re-install of FSX - on a new clean HDD. I expected this to go without a hitch, should have known better. Most times when I start FSX the aircraft is externally invisible, I have the flashing lights, nav etc but usually nothing else. Sometimes the wings but no fuselage and other odd combinations. I haven't been able to find an answer/solution so far, so I'm hoping someone here can help me. I also have a scenery problem, big black squares of scenery blocked out, not sure if it's all related. Any and all solutions welcome. Thanks Don

Hi Guys, I purchased the A318 some time ago late 2014. Got a bit ahead of my flying ability so put it on hold until now. Loading the A318 I went looking for the Fuel Planner - found it in the "Fallback" folder - right click to run as Admin and got a message "Aerosoft Airbus Fuel Planner settings Folder doesn't exist" Not too sure where I go from here, so am hoping someone here might be able to help. Hi Guys, I bought ASN on 19/08/2014. I have ver 1.0.5226.33572. When I open it I get a reminder to update. When I check for the update it tells me I have to load SP2 before SP3 if I don't already have the SP2 update. My problem is how do I know if I have the SP2 update. Having only bought it in August, would it already be updated with SP2? So I need to update with SP3.All help appreciated. Thanks Don

Hi Pete, Checked for English - US and as I thought, I only have English - UK which I assumed would be okay as there is no other choice. I made sure the voice recognition box is unchecked, it wasn't but is now. I unchecked it originally but forgot to tick apply. So in theory I thought it would be all good now. Still no voice and nothing in the box. In the slide indicator at the bottom of the speech rec window, it shows it is receiving my voice transmission. I dont know if that refers to windows only. Don

Hi Guys need some help please. My system is Win 8.1 and running FSX. I've just purchased FS2crew for the Majestic Q400. I've done the speech recognition etc and I have the English speech version. According to the MS speech setup my mike is working okay. On the FSC main panel I have the DSP and LK lights on, on pressing the PF events I got one "hello captain" the A test doesn't respond, and of course I don't have a light in the voice box. I've rechecked the mike install and it works as before, and rechecked to make sure I have the English speech version. On my screen I have a small box that says "listening". I speak and it recognises my voice, so I have to assume that the basic voice system is working. I've checked through the manual but cant find anything that relates to my problem. Obviously I have missed doing something during the install, but cant work out what. If somebody could help me here, I would really appreciate it. Thanks ** Something I just noticed. In the "Speech Recognition Speech Engine" notepad, I have an error code that reads Loading the Command and Control grammar from the FS2Crew Grammar resource file...Error Code: 0x80045052. I have no idea what that means. Do I have to reinstall the programme? Don

Hi Guys I need help. Ran into a problem with my computer, having to boot up twice to get it working, once done all okay. Tried to refresh but it wouldn't happen, message said a couple of files missing but not which ones. Best way to fix this I thought incorrectly was to do a re-install of Win 8 which would replace the missing files. That went okay, but when I tried to fire up FSX all the aircraft were multi coloured, like as if you were looking at 3D without the glasses. Put a post on ORBX and a member told me to delete the "shaders" file and that it would be regenerated when I started FSX again. WRONG, now I have a black screen no multi coloured a/c no nothing. I tried to find the shaders file, the idea being to copy and reinstall it, but I couldn't locate it. Don't know if that would have worked anyway, and I would still have had the colour problem. oh and the re-install didn't replace the missing files, but that's a separate problem. I want to fix FSX first. If somebody can help me with this, I would be really grateful. I don't want to have to re-install FSX only as a last resort. Thanks Don
