  1. Hi, I love this new plane, but I can't really accept that the Altimiter can't work unless I set MSFS units to US. No other plane I own requres this. I fly in Australia and we use hectopascals (hP) for QNH. I'm sure other pilots who fly in Europe would feel the same. Can you please advise if this will be fixed in a future release ? Hi, I just wanted to point out to those of you that are keen on both the Reality XP products and VR, that they work just as well in FlyInside as they do in normal X-Plane (that is the touchscreen). This is one important reason why I haven't changed to Native VR in X-Plane yet. FlyInside also doesn't cause any problems with Native VR, you can chop and change as you wish without having to uninstall anything. So if you love the touchscreen as much as I do and you want to use it in VR, consider giving it a go. Hi, The recent Carendao PA-31 Navajo also works quite reliably, but unfortunately I can't get the PC-12HD working with the latest combination of updates (plugin 2.4.5.0 and GTN 6.50) and X-Plane 11.25. Still trying to figure out if it's possible. If anyone has a working GTN config file that works with this combination, please post it. It's waaay worth updating to get AIRAC 1803 - 29-Mar-18 and I hope at some stage we get a way to keep the AIRAC up to date and perhaps ways of updating other databases like obstacles, basemaps, terrain and SafeTaxi for regions outside the US.   4. Hi, For any of you out there that are using FlyInsideP3D this is an excellent aircraft to use for that purpose, with good head position, easy access to switches and controls. So far it's my favourite, and one of the other main reasons I purchased it was also the GTN750 integration, which makes it a most ideal and up to date IFR trainer. I also really like the flight model, but as I haven't flown a real one, I can't comment on it's accuracy. Have been enjoying many many hours in it recently. Plan to spend many more.. Cheers, -Joe-B^)
  5. Hi, Very impressed with the GTN. Never been able to do arrivals and departures before. Flight1 have updated the database to be world wide, so it works for all the procedures in Au I have tried so far. I don't have a problem with the lack of a DME, but I'm having the annoying gear warning horn on final and some strange problems with the autopilot where the whole selector panel display fills up and sometimes the indicator above the PFD too, and on one occasion, the AP switch would not switch off (which was followed by a rare P3D freeze). I've tried the suggested Cold & Dark workaround, but that didn't seem t help much. It seems to be the nose wheel. The saratoga flies and trims nicely though, which makes it a pleasure to fly. I'm hoping to see more fast singles and twins with the GTN option.. Cheers and thanks for the tip.. -Joe-B^)
  6. Hi Felix, Thanks for this tip. It took me a while to find this thread. I'm going to have a go at this combination in P3D and see if my experience is as good as yours. It might be a good idea to give some feedback to Carenado regarding the redundancy of the Transponder. If this combination is as good as I'm hoping, it would be nice to see more planes offered with this kind of integration. Cheers, -Joe-B^)
