Found this after Windows Update
No problems guys, what ever help we can get between simmers is always welcome. It may be a good idea to have the link pinned to make sure that others who may not be aware of this situation and are experiencing a droop in performance can have a look at their installed updates first to see if that can be the cause of their sim. acting funny.

SLI is coming to P3Dv2 in a couple of weeks :)
To whom may have temp. problems with their card under regular use or playing games may be caused by a specific driver, trying another driver may take care of the problem.

Running a good SLI configuration does not only depend on Nvidia but the game also, if LM or Nvidia does not do a good job implementing SLI in the game your doomed, one strong card may give better result.- SLI is coming to P3Dv2 in a couple of weeks :)
That's what is expected from SLI in general, always depend on the game. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/197327-the-sli-information-guide/- NickN now gives advise on tuning P3D
Christopher, I don't disagree with you but there is always a cost to add bloated scenery to a sim and that was my point, to often peoples want the top of the line scenery and want to keep their sliders at the same position trying to tweak the sim internally because they want their cake and eat it too, it just does not work like that. I think that's the whole picture here about Nick's advise and that is why some tweak don't work on my system when others will see improvements because there is so many different system and sim configurations.- NickN now gives advise on tuning P3D
And there you have it, you will get as many different results as there is PC's configurations in this forum, why is it so hard for some to understand? If everybody were running the same exact PC and PC's configuration we would be talking about the same results but this will never be the case as we can't never expect the same result from one PC to another as I am sure everybody has a different setup or close to. Nick's setup work for him and may or may not work for others, different strokes for different folks, I'm running my setup on a Sharp 4K 70" wide screen (3D mind you), you guys care to compare visuals? I'm sure they won't be the same as your HD monitor, how come would you ask? Some can't fly without this or that scenery made buy this or that developer, let me ask you this, are we in the business of flying and learning about flying or sightseeing?...yes, it does look nicer when flying over a add on that can make the sim look like the real world but at what price? We, understandably, want the best flying experience and the more realistic feel (as much as we can get it sitting in a chair in our own houses) but if you ask me about the whole flying experience I will tell you that it start in the cockpit learning how to fly and not when I'm looking outside to see if the right plane hangar is at the right place, bonus if it is and I can run my sim without stuttering. For me the bottom line is this, I am ready to try somebody's finding as he may be on to something and if somebody's finding or set up work on my system great, if it does not work I'll erase it or revert my setup to what it was before without calling one's work in progress rubbish or else.- NickN now gives advise on tuning P3D
Sir, I see your advice as good as any other including Nick's advice if they work for me or anybody else but when you make a statement like this one about Nick's advice " He makes some statements that are just plain wrong, such as:" it's because you can show me beyond a shadow of a doubt where he's wrong. I don't call that drama but knowing what you'r talking about. If I think the advice you give or gave are plain wrong I will make sure to challenge you on your own turf with plenty of solid proof to back any of my atatements up to show you where you are wrong, unless I can't back it up I will state that my own advice work on my own system and MAY work on others.- NickN now gives advise on tuning P3D
What's happening here? Do you all have the same computer with the same hardware clocked at the same speed using the same scenery with all sliders adjusted the same way in your sim. so you all can make the same visual/performance observations and give a definitive and exact opinion on what ever Nick is saying is working or not? What am I missing? He's giving out his own observations on his own computer with his own experience about P3D backed by his knowledge on the subject, take it or leave it but why the attack? How many here have been verbally assaulted because they gave advise/tips related to their own observations after presumably tweaking their P3D sim? I'm not taking either side here but I can't believe what I'm reading from some of you. I've read what he wrote and I can't see for the life of me where he attacked any of us P3D users, granted he does not give the white-glove treatment when giving his opinions on P3D (or any other subject for that matter) it does not mean he's wrong. For me the bottom line is this, try it and see for yourself if his recommendations does work for you or not and for all others that want to challenge him on what he's saying I think the best place to do it would be on his forum where you can prove him wrong if you think he is, now how many of you will go there and challenge him?- NickN now gives advise on tuning P3D
Should you not ask Orbx for useful tips about their scenery, I don't think Nick should give tips on Orbx scenery as I can't see Orbx doing the same for Flight1's scenery. - SLI is coming to P3Dv2 in a couple of weeks :)
