Hi all I have amazed myself ,What with the help of AVSIM members I have recalled most of my past knowlage of Microsoft Flight Simulator but the part of my brain that lets me lern new ways is out of reach. I can fly the small planes useing Microsoft flight planners on ILS and free flight following.But my downloaded focker as got me beat. I can not Set it up for use on my PC it is loaded into FSX airplanes and can load it in Current Aircraft But no way can I understand how to set it up for a flight.Load the diferent windows in the cabin. I have realy tried, but I just can not cope with all the instuctions.my brain just wont accept them into my memory. But once they are set up I can still remember how I used to Fly Project Focker in FS2004. Can I pay for a FSX expert to enter my PC with team Viewer and set it up for me. Best regards Rex.

Sorry the Altmeter calibration knob it stoped responding so I could not expedite my altitude to the given hight while flying on real world weather and constant changes of the altemeter. Regards Rex :blush:

the flight Low altuide ILS from Bristol EGGD to London City EGLC Aircraft FSX Gold Beach Barron 58 fsx real weather change every 15 minutes.around 50minutes into the flight Just after been given my ILS vectors runway ect I was told I was 300 above the required altitude and was given my altiuude reading when I tried to change the setting It had stoped working and could not expedite my altitude. Well you all know what happens when you disobay. I shut down and made a cup of good Yourkshire tea. Please tell me is there anything I could have done to save the Flight. &@($* this used to be an ocasional problem with the fist barron 58 in FSX not the later model I am now useing in FSX Gold. Hi P Yes I have been doing that when I was useing Plan-G Map. but now I have got FS Tramp and the fly to here app I have got used to sitting back and flying all over the south of the UK visting places I used to Pitch my tent and twitch as In Birdwatching :blush: I visited Sky a few days ago and flew over the mountan I ticked off the Golden eagle and flew along the sea cliffs I tick the Sea eagle. FSX as more to offer than than people who dont use Flight Simulator realise. Most people when you say your pc hoggy is simulating Flying an aicraft they think it is just a boys toy arcade game Utill you sit them down with Piper J3 Cub explain a few basics put their hand on the throttle contol and their other on the joy stick and say off you go giving them instuction. Hi thank you both I now have sorted it out and all is well for anyone that purchase an ASUS moniter The button to use is the 5th from the right and must be held depressed untill you see a change A few seconds. This is all I made that call to ASUS tecnical pay helpline and ater a few minutes I was conected to a lady and explained verbaly what I had done and could not change the input She waffeled on for quite a while about compatability I told her the model numbers so she could check compatability of these very latest ASUS mnoniters and she said she did not have them listed :angry: I the not so politly told her she was total incapable to help and said good-by. All you recieve in the box is a very limited quick start quick start sheet with no informationof about changeing the input signal and a multi language Guarantee booklet.?? from ASUS these days,and download information is also not very informative. my previous small moniter you just kept pressing the input button untill your input recever showed DVI. Once all the set up was complete and the input was showing HDMI no signal recieved I tried all the buttons avalable numerouse time with no effect. Thank you both for your correct responce. Hi all As I only Fly around the UK usually below 3,000ft so eye candy is very important to me. but back in the days when i used to use FS2002/4/and FSX I seem to remember there was a way to cut down on the Terrain data load time . Although it only takes about 15 seconds It would be nice to speed it up. Is it posible in windows 7 64bit or would you recomend me to be more patient :blush: Regards Rex.

I have just replaced my 12" lilliput With a 21.5" Asus VS229 res.1920x1080 to use as second monitor for my FSTramp map. My No1 moniter is an ASUS VK248H 24" both have the logo HDMI on the front and have the same conectability HDMI/DVI-D/VGA .after I installed the New 21.5" useing DVI-D conecter in the GPU-OUT and Monitor input, I used AMD catalist control manager To detect the new monitor which it did. Restarted the PC but the No2 did not show up with a piture and said it as no signal on HDMI even though it was conected to DVI-D but when I tried to put up Firefox I shot over to the blank screen and so did the curser. After a while I phoned ASUS UK tecnlcal help. I realy should not have botherd She obvesly Had no idea what was the trouble she mentioned compatability but when I gave here the two model numbers she said she could not find Them I wont bore you with anymore from asus :angry: :angry: Could any of you gents recomend were I go from here if it is compatability I will have to be returned. Hi all (Please note this is not a knock at Playsims) who have been very helpfull in sorting out my install problems of their currant VFS scenery programs that are instaled wit their EFI installer. They have Now employed Tony Meradith as a consultant To help custermers with prblems with their new installer. Tony uses TeamViewer to take over You PC remove problems and install you new scenery. If you are getting trouble contact Playsims for help on Telephone +44(0) 1924 509273 or email [email protected] and ask for help I f you did manage a successfull install with the ESI installer It was recomended for me to remove it strait after the install to stop interfearance with other installs and when you purchase new playSim scenery do the same with the new installer it loads I hope this may help other Member overcome this ESI fault. Hi all Well I have Just been through this very distressing problem with Playsims and its ESI installer. They have now admitted there is a problem and have employed Tony Meredith as a consultant Who will use TeamViewer 10 To sort out any problems you have with Playsims VFR scenery. I f you are succesfull with the ESI installer It is recomended you remove it after you instal the new scenery as it could effect any other installs you attempt New purchases will reinstall the installer. if you are un-succesfull with the install contact playsims Telephone: +44(0)1924 509273 E-mail: [email protected] and ask for free Help from Tony Meredith. Hi again all Well I now have FSTramp on my pc and registered, But one small item I am haveing trouble with slideing FSX tramp screen onto my small lilliput moniter to check the map in flight I succeded in one attempt put it was unstable. Other times it takes FSX with it. Would someone please let this old trier to succede on this one please. :blush: Regards Rex
