  1. It does work on the Just Flight Avro RJ however to see said passengers in the aircraft is another matter! That feature only works on aircraft purchased outside of MS Marketplace. I consider that Gsx was for me a useless waste of money...
  2. I wasted my money on this rubbish! Yes it is rather pretty but adds severe overhead loads on the sim not to mention the extremely long loading times for MSFS with GSX enabled. All other GSX operations just take time away from actually flying the aircraft. Also not that the much vaunted passengers in aircraft does not work with most default MSFS aircraft or aircraft purchased in the marketplace. I have long since uninstalled it - at least as much as is possible. (The uninstall program leaves heaps of files behind...)
  3. Hi all... Is there some way to stop MSFS showing other pilots who are flying around me? I'm am never in a group yet there are aircraft (not AI craft I think) all over the place... Thanks, Rob
  4. Yeah..., that's what I thought... Another Asobo stuff-up... Thanks anyway Alex...
  5. Hi Alex... Clarification: On numerous occasions I see aircraft nearby or overhead my plane but they do not appear in LNMP... At other times, I see aircraft in LNMP but not within the sim... Looks like Asobo stuffed things up again... Rob
  6. Hi..., After the last MSFS update, "other" aircraft (AI, real, etc) are (mostly) not being displayed on the LNMP screen... Is there a setting or fix available? Thanks, Rob
  7. Hey guys... I'd more or less reached that conclusion myself... My current system is a Asus Maximus VII Formula m.board (1150 socket) with a i7-4950K CPU, 16MB DDR3 ram (1088 MHz) and a GTX970 OC graphics card. CPU and motherboard both water cooled It's not a bad system but I'm trying to drive 3 1080p monitors in FSX and she stutters quite a bit. I admit I do run everything maxed out with a lot of scenery installed and HD aircraft The i7-6700K will give me a bit more power but the 32GB DDR4 (at 3200 MHz) should make much more of a difference. With the water cooling going only to the processor, I should be able to clock the 6700 to at least 4.5 GHz The big bonus is that with the money saved over the 2011-3 platform, I can get a GTX 1080 graphics card for very little over and above... More thoughts? Rob
  8. Hi... Has anyone considered a LGA 2011v3 platform? I'm trying to decide between: 1. ASUS X99-Deluxe II m'board + an i7 6850K + 32GB DDR4 memory 2. Asus Maximus VIII Formula LGGA 1151 + i7 6700K (4.0GHz) + 32GB DDR4 memory These would match up with a custom water cooling kit (240mm radiator) and a Galax HOF GTX970 graphics card. Disks are NVMe PCIe drive + SSD This is going to be my last system upgrade as I'm retiring and going onto as pension... Thoughts would be appreciated... Rob
  9. Elaine, Carenado aircraft are my favourite and most flown productions. In fact 90% plus flights I make are using these - particularly the Phenom 100 and the TBM 850. They've just dropped the ball with this one! And I hope that this production doesn't set the standard for Carenado... Rob
  10. No worries Richard... I've set up my exe.xml to auto load the SPAD with FSX... I can copy the CustomKnobs folder to Hawker, do I also copy the panel.cfg? Or do I merge it? Rob Richard, All sorted! Just added the line in panel.cfg... All is good. Now for a test flight! Thanks again - muchly - for the assist! Rob
  11. Thanks for that Richard... I've downloaded and installed SPAD - now to study what it does... I've also re-intalled the Hawker - ready for a test... No ZIP file attached??? Rob
  12. Hi all! I've been flying this aircraft for a couple of weeks - it's a beautiful beast! I have two major issues though: 1. It's inability to use the FSX/FSC flight plans - or at least it will use them but will not transfer the data to the FMC/Proline 21. It may be more realistic but I can't usually be bothered to first build a plan in FSC and then having to do it again (and much more painfully!) in the Proline. 2. It will not properly interact with my Saitek Pro multi panels. 3. Although not solely a H850XP problem, the appaling lack of documentation meets with Carenado's normal standards! Certainly items 1 and 2 are a game killer for me and I have since uninstalled it and relegated it to the archives as a waste of cash... Carenado, you've done it again! Rob
  13. Thanks Steve! Purchased! Rob
  14. Steve, As a new user, can I purchase the software? I can't find it on FSS... Thanks, Rob
  15. Thank you muchly! It's rather odd that it's not documented anywhere... Cheers! Rob
  16. Hi all! I have a rather silly question... I've just bought this great looking aircraft and it joins the Phenom, TBM and a few others... In any and all of these: How do bring up the Carenado menus (e.g. the black start menu) up? I have spent hours trying numerous little buttons, switches, you name it - all to no avail... Rather frustrating this... And Carenado's woeful documentation is of no help! Thanks, Rob
