Hello! I've watched a lot of tutorials to start flying ultra-complex Boeings (PMDG 777-200 and PMDG 737-800NG), but always during takeoff, they were saying either: increase thrust to ~40%, press TO/GA and release parking brake (737) or increase thrust to ~55%, wait for it to stabilize and press TO/GA [without setting parking brake on runway] (777). And I also saw proffesional pilots do it in real life. But why? How does it help? Is it necessary? Also, below FL100, pilots turn on Engine Start Switches To 'Continous'. It gives more chances, to keep the engine running, during the bird strike. But if it's so good, why do pilots turn it off above FL100? And one more thing, during flight, Engine Oil, and Hydraullic Fluid slowly decrease over time. But when you end your flight and close the game, do those variables some kind of 'save'? Is there a reason to check those values constantly during preflight checklist? (in flight simulator, like FSX) Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

PMDG 777 Descend Path
So, I've recently got PMDG 777-200 and it's fantastic! But I have a problem with one thing. I don't get the descend path, until I fill out flightplan completely (STARs Transitions etc.) It's very troubling because my T/D is often before the last waypoint in the flightplan and I can't tune ATIS (because I'm still too far out) to check available runways. Is there any way to counteract this? Any help would be much appreciated! :smile:

So, I recently got ActiveSky2016 weather engine, and I don't know how to get Weather Radar to work on either PMDG 737-800NGX or PMDG 777. Also, am I able to use it in this version of Hifisimtech products? Because in the PMDG Introduction, I've read that you need Active Sky Next, or later version. Thanks! I appreciate any help!

Hello! Recently I had some Master Caution problems in Boeing 737-800 PMDG NGX. "FUEL" and "ANTI-ICE" don't want to extenguish for some reason. I've run through all of the PMDG 737-800 checklists (at least I think I did). What could be the reason of it not extenguishing? I always switch off center fuel pumps when empty and I usually remember about anti-ice. Any help would be much appreciated! Kind regards, Mixer.

A/T In-Flight
So, I've been practising landing with only one engine on my 737-800 PMDG-NGX. I set it up in the FMC but the hardest was managing the throttle. I couldn't engage the A/T. But for some reason I COULD engage A/T when I turned down working engine thrust lever. Can somebody please explain to me - how does it actually work? I love aircrafts but I know almost nothing about them, I only try to remember all the checklists.

Hello. Can anybody explain to me when do you use strobe-steady lights in Boeing 737-800 PMDG NGX and what is the difference between putting the switch in the middle or pushing it completely? I know it's very complicated aircraft. I've already had it for like 3 months and I've done some nice flights. Thanks in advance Mixer

I was wondering what is the maximum (safe flight) range of the Boeing 737-800 PMDG, that it can still have like 2000lbs in the reserve. And can I actually make a transatlantic flight with it? Thanks in advance Mixer
