Found a strange issue scanning and loading XP12 sceneries. I have the "x-Prefab FSE Airports" packages linked from another drive in the Custom Scenery folder but they're disabled in the scenery_packs.ini file. Yet, even after multiple re-scans with LNM, the airport (SPYL) for this library is loaded and displayed. Only if I actually remove the shortcuts do they get removed from the LNM map. After some more checking it seems all the "x-prefab" airports are loaded as long as they're present or linked there despite them being disabled in the .ini file. It only seems to happen with this specific scenery package. For reference this is the package in question: Prefab scenery for 25000 airports - Scenery Packages - X-Plane.Org Forum It's very handy as it adds some basic airport scenery to many small strips that are in the XP database but otherwise empty. Incidentally, it would be super useful to have a dedicated filter for this package under airport types to quickly eliminate the clutter just for this set.

Uff, of course I've been switching between XP release and beta and forgot to reload the nav data. All good now. Excellent support as always!

Since a few months I see that LNM doesn't show the actual weather that is in XPlane. See screenshot below. On departure LEST had a SW wind, gusting 15+ but the map depicts "no wind". Once airborne it seems to show it correctly. This started with 12.3 beta and is ongoing in the crrent 12.3.0R2. If it's only on my end what should I be checking for? I have both FreeType and Hight DPI enabled. Tried turning them off to no avail. The only thing fixes it is to cycle back to default font size (8 pt, but text is still cut off) and back to what I like (9 pt, text shown correctly).

I have a 2k monitor that I'm using with 125% display scaling and the elevation profile window altitude text gets cut off. I'm also using a 9pt font size for "Display and text". When I cycle the font to default (8pt) and back to 9pt the labeling rearranges and is then visible. I just found out that Garmin has a tool: Garmin: SOFTWARE TOOL: Checklist Editor Updates & Downloads that can create an ".ace" file that one can load into a physical unit via the SD card slot. Is this something we can use for the RXP simulated unit also?

Hello, I just discovered the checklist function (AUX2>Checklist) on the GNS 530 but of course creating a full checklist on the device is a bit tedious. Where is this information stored? Is there a way to create a checklist as a file and load it on the device? Or is there a tool for this to make checklist creation faster and easier?

If I add custom points to plan by right click and "add position to flight plan" option, is it possible to move this marker via the mouse somehow. I only found the way to edit the LAT/LONG and no way to drag the point to another location. Is it possible?

Hello, with OSM at least if I zoom in all the way the plane/heli icon is not scaling properly. Only testing now with helis but reporting just in case.

That sounds promising but the taxi routing would be particularly helpful after landing if one is not too familiar with the airport. The search with highlight will already be very helpful so thanks for looking into this.

I was wondering if it's possible to search for parking facilities or stands at airports? Also, I was looking at past suggestions about adding a taxi routing/aid facility to LNM, which would be a brilliant addition and wondering if it's still completely off the table? Would be very helpful to just type in taxiway instructions and stand number from ATC into a dialog box and have it auto-route you from current pos on rwy exit to parking stand. I know I'm dreaming but it would elevate LNM to a whole new level. 🙂

OK, interesting. Just tried now using FL350 and NATV with fresh download of tracks. It gives and error: "Nothing found for NATV. Ignoring." If I type only "V" it works fine. This is for the above flight plan. I have the same settings as you. Not sure why it's not taking "NATV". None of the tracks work with this notation. If I use letters only it works. This is with XP12 database if that matters.

I'm actually trying to import (copy/paste) a flight plan created in Simbrief where the current track Eastbound that is used for the flight plan is marked as NATV. So it's using track V. I've downloaded the tracks in LNM, track V is there but when I paste the plan into the planner (edit flight plan window) it doesn't understand the NATV shorthand. Is there any way to indicate which track to use so I don't have to type the points in manually? Plan: CYHZ IGTAS ELSIR NATV GISTI LUPOR ENJEX AVZAC INFEC JETZI AMFUL OCTIZ P2 SIRIC SIRI1H EGLL Also, interestingly, if I try to use the calculate feature for the same dep/dest it doesn't use a single track even though the tracks are downloaded. It selects points over several tracks. I remember it used to do a much better job at this in the past. I'm using LNM v3.0.9.

Thanks for the help. Yes, once I got on the taxi way it got active FMS in green. However, I have question. I had to modify the arrival just as I was already inbound to the initial fix and after selecting the new arrival everything got cleared out from the rest of the flight plan. The new arrival didn't display either. What gives?

I'm trying to figure out how to arm LNAV and VNAV in the Asobo Longitude (with WT G5000) so that FMS and V ALTS gets announced on the FMA in white. I was able to do it once but not again. Here is what I do on lineup: press the TOGA button on the side of the throttle lever then press the AT button on the back of the lever. On the FMA I see TO, TO in green and ALT S in white (also TO in white for the AT). If I arm LNAV (press NAV) then the green TO switches to green FMS. However, once I saw a green TO and white FMS below when arming LNAV but I can't replicate it again. What should be the correct way to do this?

Yes, I know of the available methods and understand that at the moment that's all there is. Just to explain the use-case better, I use LNM widget in MSFS in a small window in the corner of the screen to provide taxi information. In this small window the current label config is too much but when I switch to the main LNM window I'd like to see all details so if this quick switch can be added in the future it would be wonderful.

Hello, is it possible to hide all labels quickly on the map? I only want to see the flight plan line and my plane, no labels of any kind to declutter the map even when zoomed in. Is it possible?

I would prefer option two: allow us to create a Stadia account and use the 200000/month free tiles at least if possible. More options are always better... Stamen is/was my favorite map theme it being the least cluttered and still informative. Sorry to see it go 😞
