  1. Thanks Dan Blessings Duncan Odgers
  2. Hi PMDG, Thank you so much for your updates and information you shared on the Flight Angels video yesterday. Very good news regarding platform development, DC-6 forr P3D coming out this year and basically going into Beta soon and an updated NGX. One piece of news you didn't really comment on was the 747-400?! Is this close to Beta? Any clues as to how you are getting on with the development. It would appear from the outside that the DC-6 is more important but i know thats not true. Please im not asking for release dates or anything like that just an update would be great. Thanks Blessings Duncan Odgers
  3. Hi Guys, Just wondering if you were at some point planning to do a service pack 2 for the 777 to add some additional features for P3D/FSX? Thanks Duncan Odgers
  4. Hi Dan, I was indeed referring to actual aircraft addons notably Majestic (who program outside P3D) and FSL Concorde (Again outside in the main) Thanks for your response. Blessings Duncan
  5. Hi Kyle, Thanks for the quick reply I was mainly referring to the fact that some other prolific developers had decided to ensure their product was compliant with the latest version of P3D in terms of performance and making use of the latest PDK. Both products work well. As I said it was more of a question rather than a request. Thanks Duncan
  6. Hi PMDG< Just wondering if the 777 & NGX will receive any more minor updates for the evolving Prepar3d V3? I have noticed that at least two other prolific developers have had to update their aircraft to be more compatible with the very latest version P3D V3.3.5 and just wondered are PMDG planning any more updates for the above titles for P3D? Robert mentioned that P3D now has more advanced features and tech that they could utilise and has already mentioned about the 747 V3 getting the benefit of this technology it would be good if it doesn't already have it if the 777 & NGX could be bought up to speed so to speak. Thanks Duncan Odgers
  7. HI LM, Please see my recent crash report. I am using Win10, PMDG 777, ASN, FSreal time, Traffic Optimiser and MT6. I was flying from KJFK - EGLL with Aerosoft EGLL Xtended active I was 10miles from TOD when the crash happened and was using auto time compression from the PMDG 777 fine until I reached that 10mile from TOD. I also have ORBX Global and England active. Any help would be great! 9. Its a bit quiet around here, has Robert been kidnapped by some crazy in the community who is demanding the new 747? I will pay the ransom just so he can keep coding and get it into Beta haha. Seriously though PMDG any updates on the 747? Thanks Duncan Odgers
  10. Hi Martin, Thanks for the reply I think maybe we have crossed wires. My question was asking about the business model NOT content. Simply put will customers who purchase your "new" flight simulator later this year get FREE future updates year on year which add features to the simulator. OR will they have to buy each new release? You have done this with Train Simulator so someone buys TS2013 and gets 2014, 2015 and some parts of TS16 absolutely free with all the additional features included. Thanks Duncan
  11. Hi Martin, Thanks for answering all the questions so far. Just another quick question. Will the business model for your new Flight Simulator be based on your model for Train Simulator in that once you buy the core program lets call it TS12 you get a brand new version all the way to TS2015 until you build a completely earth shattering new version and again for example your next gen train sim. It would be really good to know Thanks Duncan
  12. HI Guys, Please see the error screenshot below can anyone help to get FSrealtime and P3D playing nicely again. I just installed FSrealtime for the first time ever. Thanks Duncan
  13. Thanks Rob good to know. Great update and thanks for all you guys at PMDG do for us the simmer. Blessings Duncan
  14. Thanks Rob. Just wondering when can we expect the Taxi Cam for the 300ER and Dome light issues fixed for P3D Blessings Duncan Odgers
  15. Hi PMDG Just a thought but for our patience waiting for the 777 for P3D and other platforms update could you perhaps throw in the Swiss livery for the 777-300ER Expansion. Just like you did for the NGX. Also please can you fix the Cam and Dome lighting issue in P3D in this update? Thanks Duncan Odgers
  16. Hi Dan Thanks for this yes I am seeing P3D bar reloading. I will try your suggestion's I think perhaps I have been a little realistic in my expectations. Duncan Odgers
  17. Hi Guys, I am submitting a ticket as well, just noticed that when I am using time compression in the PMDG 777 whilst using MYTraffic 6 in P3D V2.5 (latest hotfixes included) that the traffic keeps reloading after about 10minutes on x16. Did a flight today from KMCO to EGKK and it happened a lot but when I turned the time compression off there were NO issues didn't try and reload once. Thought it a bit strange that's all and seeming as you guys are preparing an update for the 777 in P3D making it compatible with V2.5 latest version etc.. etc... then I thought if it was something you knew that might be triggering it in the 777. Thanks Duncan Odgers PS I have also logged a ticket over at MYTraffic 6 desk but everything was fine before.
  18. Thanks Rob that is great. The taxi situation is all about the ground friction modeling.
  19. Hi Rob Yes I agree with breaking compatibility but if LM go 64bit it will break compatibility anyway so may as well go the whole hog. The "other sim" boasts superior dynamics over ESP and FSX. In terms of specifics Ground handling is a definite one as taxiing and breaking distances are unrealistic. I guess also I have invested a lot of money in P3D in don't want to change to the other dim because it has a better feel. Some claim a Level D experience. Rob can you help answer my fears that this perhaps is not the case. I guess I'm thinking is FF777 so much better to fly then PMDG 777 in terms of feel and dynamics. Thanks Duncan Odgers
  20. It would be good if LM did change FDE and physics. Rob - Please could you suggest it to LM Thanks Duncan
  21. Well yes I understand but LM are constantly updating and why should ESP not have the best and most desktop simulation it is supposed to be used for training after all. Duncan Odgers
  22. HI Rob, Can you mention to LM that in V3 it would be good to have more realistic Flight Modelling and Flight Physics a change from FSX Model. Also 64 Bit would be awesome. Thanks Duncan Odgers The Flight modelling would hopefully bridge the gap (in terms of the "OTHER" sim) and make P3D stronger.
  23. Hi Robert, Thanks for this update just a quick question regards the 777, you mention an update coming, does this update address the compatibility fixes (mentioned in the base pack intro) and INOP Taxi Cam in the 300ER for P3D V2.5 as well? OR just the memory leak? Thanks in advance Duncan Odgers
  24. Thanks Kyle for your quick reply. Will the taxi cam be fixed in P3D in a future update? Also the only reason I ask about flight dynamics is because Prepar3d make a big thing about letting the developer create custom models it seems to imply there are less restrictions than FSX because of the powerful PDK which is all new in V2. Thanks Duncan
  25. Hi Guys Just a quick question I already have PMDG 777 base pack and 300ER for FSX. Looking at potentially the P3D platform but am concerned does everything work in both the base pack and 300ER versions of P3D. I thought I read somewhere here the Taxi Cam on the 300ER for P3D is INOP and does not work just as an example. Also does it fly the same? Thanks Duncan Odgers
