  1. No, I don't think so. It's a entertainment or (with the right add ons) a educational simulation, but NOT a game at all. Therefore, USER would be the better term.
  2. Winter service at airports with de-icing and delays while runways has to be cleared from snow. AI aircrafts that getting affected by wind speed and direction. Better (no sudden turns) ai ground handling than in fsx. Winch launch or ai aircraft that tows gliders. Collision detection in 1st person mode for scenery objects, that make it possible for scenery developers to make airports where you can enter your aircraft from the terminal through a passenger jetway.
  3. This is a long-unfulfilled wish, a car simulator like City Car Driving with graphics like Forza Horizon 4, car physics like assetto corsa and a world wide scenery like in fs2020. But why not combining the two, driving with a car to the airport, flying with your aircraft to a location and taking a rental car at the destination in order to explore the location? In GTA you can already do something like that but unfortunately in a very "arcadish" way.
  4. AI aircraft should get affected by wind speed and direction like in xplane. Train traffic on rails like in xplane. No more jerky turning of ai aircraft on taxiways and runways like in fsx.
  5. But if you are taxing or parking at the gate, there is time enough to perceive such details especially if you are using a ga aircraft on a small airfield.
  6. How about a virtual copilot who can: fly the aircraft if you are prevented process checklists can take over ATC
  7. By writing "it totally destroys" the realism I don't mean this makes the sim useless, but such seemingly insignificant things are destroying imo the illusion of "beeing really there".
  8. Giraffes would only make sense in a very limited region. Birds are already in x-plane, why not in msfs?
  9. + Native VR + First person mode to walk around the aircraft. + A nice vairiety would be the ability to drive airport vehicles (follow me cars, busses, fuel trucks).
  10. If this wasn't mentioned here before, does msfs make use of public available real time geodata such as vulcano or wild fire monitoring data, tides?
  11. I don't know if this questions has already been asked, but that is imo what is currently still missing in todays simulators, with respect to immersion: Plants (trees, grass) that are animated in conjunction with wind speed and direction it destroys the realism totally if you are on a windy day at a airport and all trees around you are completely static Rain / snow on aircraft's surfaces and scenery objects. Snow / water on taxiways, runways that gets affected by wind or engine thrust output. FSX has already ship traffic on oceans but unfortunately the draw distance is too low to see them from 30.000 ft or higher. Especially ship lights at night should be visible from a much greater distance.
