  1. Hello, When using a standard msfs flight plan with an ILS approach on 14Z at Gold Coast airport (YCBG), the navlog shows elevation at this airport is " -600".....that's MINUS 600. Can anyone shed any light on this event? Appreciate any replies. Digger
  2. Hi, Have searched everywhere, but can't find an answer. Some aircraft files include a panel.cfg file, and others do not. Not sure why. In the panel.cfg file, it is possible to change the font COLOUR for registration details on the plane's exterior. Can anyone please tell me exactly what colours are available to be used? I've used a couple of basic colours, e.g. green, red, blue, but wanr to fine-tune the colours if possible. I tested a 'brown' colour, and the response was more pink than brown. Would appreciate any help. Thanks
  3. Hello, Have just read this thread from start to finish, and can understand the concerns of redjr. He has brought-up plenty of issues we all face when attempting to understand Stream Deck and associated software. I have watched several YT videos, read a few posts and still can't get past square one. My stream deck...bought several months ago...now sits idle while I try to sus it all out. I would love to be able to say that I have installed, and can operate, Lorbys AAO, but just the sight of a 97page guide to install and operate this program is too scary for me at my age of 76. Thanks to all posters here, and I'll certainly follow your advice and links, Cheers
  4. Thanks, Gaiiden, That works well. Re the ATC id colour change, I notice a line in the .cfg file....'atc_id_color = "0xff000000" ; color for the tail number : i.e. "#ffff00ff"'... Using Paint.net, I can't seem to use the hex code of my required colour. Where am I going wrong? Is there a different colour-code I should be using...other than what I'm seeing in Paint.net?
  5. Hello, Bert, Thank you for this fix. It works well in all but one of mr TBM930 liveries, so I'm very happy with that result. At present, I am using tne MSFS 'Cusomization' screen for testing purposes only. I would like to be able to customise each livery with its own registration number. Can you, or any member, advise me how to correctly edit each .cfg file to do this? I recall doing this many months ago by using a PANEL.cfg file ( I think), where I could also change the text colour successfully. Appreciate any advice.
  6. Hi, I have a program called ASUpdater from Aerosoft installed on my PC, and hope someone can tell me if I can uninstall it without wrecking my MSFS. Have recently been having issues with Honeycomb Bravo lights not working, and somehow ended up with this installation. Realize I should be asking Aerosoft, but just happen to browse this site and saw the thread. Hope someone can help with good advice. Digger
  7. Hello, Donka, Looks like we're stuck with the 10 bindings, and no way to increase this number. I've done a Google search for solutions, but no joy there. It's a shame, because the Elgato StreamDeck has so many keys available yet MSFS will only grant 10. Never mind...we'll move on. So good to see many people giving time and effort to help people like me. You're one of those people, Donka, and I realy appreciate your assistance. Take care, stay safe Digger
  8. Hi, Donka, Thank you, once again. The images I have saved/loaded are not the generic bindings as shown in MSFS Control Options, but variations of them. For example, as the MCDU is pretty small and hard to see (for me, anyway). so I modified the view by zooming/ moving left and right, up and down etc to get a much larger screen size. Saved and loaded as one of the 10 default keys, and good to go. So, I have used up all of the 10 bindings allowed. As I want to show more views...mainly drones.....would I have to add my new assignments into MSFS Control Options/Keyboard showing my new proposed bindings.....for example SHIFT+ALT+$+1 for saving, and then ALT+$+1 for loading into StreamDeck? Hope that makes sense, Donka.......it probably doesn't, as it's 4:15am here and I'm a little weary. Take care, Digger
  9. Hi, Donka, Thanks for your reply. Can I just explain how I've set my buttons up on my StreamDeck.Button 1 has the main startup screen loaded showing TBM partial cockpit. My next (button 2) shows a zoomed-out image of almost the complete cockpit. Having done that,I've gone to MSFS to see what I've ended up with. If I press number 1, the correct display shows. If I press the same button again, I get the same image. Moving to button 2, pressing shows the correct image, and pressing the same button again, the image from button 1 displays. The other views all share the 'quirk'...one button-press is fine and shows as saved, and the second press reverts to button 1. Not sure if that's normal or not. Now, If I wish to load/save another view (eg drone view) to another unused pad, and using your example of CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+11, I select that for saving to MSFS. When I cross to SpaceTrack to load the view, and press ALT+SHIFT+11, the response does not show the last digit.....So nothing shows for pad 11. But what it does do is replace my original opening screen 2nd press with this new saved image. And this new image now replaces the 2nd press on each of the other saved pads as well. Mate, I hope you understand the above, and appreciate your help. Digger
  10. Hi, Donka, I still must be doing something/s wrong. Have tried several combinations of save/load, but none would let me designate a number higher than 9...once I try to show the save/load number in double-figure, StreamDeck would only acknowledge the first digit. I agree that there are only 10 number keys available to bind to in the Sim. But there are several other screens I'd like to use...drone views, for example. They are accessible using the keyboard, but to transfer those commands to the StreamDeck by using a unique command (as per your example) doesn't seem to work for me. I don't understand that if I did use additional key combinations, how does MS/MSFS know what my intention is...ie to save and/or load. Any help is much appreciated. Digger
  11. Hi, Donka (and others) Another question, if I may. I have used the save/load keys for various aircraft cameras, and have used numbers 0 to 9.....all ten of them. I am unable to add more, as Stream Deck will not accept double numbers....eg CTRL+ALT+11...or 12, 13 etc. Is there any way to overcome this? Thanks in advance Digger
  12. Hi, Donka, All good now, thanks to your helpful advice. I persisted with making the same small error over and over again...until the penny finally dropped. And Algy10, thanks for that video link. I've now seen a couple of them now, and he makes some good points. Much appreciated. Digger
  13. Donka, Many thanks for your assistance. I'll follow your advice, and let you know how I got on. We have New Years Eve coming up soon here, so I'd best get back to family celebrations before they disown me. Happy New Year Digger
  14. "retrieve these with a key assignment so I would just set them up how you need for the TBM then add the key bindings for these to your Streamdeck" Hi, Donka, How do I retrieve these with key assignments and add them to my Streamdeck? Thanks Digger
  15. Hi, I'm seeking some good advice on Lorbys and MSFS. I am using MSFS, along with Honeycomb A and B, and have it pretty-much setup for flying a TBM930 with most bindings. Having done that, I have just received an Elgato StreamDeck 15-pad, and would like tp set it up specifically for custom camera views...internal/external/drones. In the interim, and in it's simplicity, I have set up keyboard buttons 0 to 9 to the buttons on the Streamdeck 9 (just as a test run). Whilst these assignments are generic to all aircraft, I would like to be able to 'fine-tune' each view to be more TBM930-specific.For example, in the MFD view, I would like to re-position the view slightly, and zoom in closer. Same with the other buttons, and other views external and drones. Axis and OHS comes highly recommended, but I must confess at my age I find it REALLY daunting, particularly the 96-page manual. Is it possible to solve my questions without using another program? Or can I use Axis and OHS without it conflicting with my Honeycomb devices. Would appreciate any advice. Thank you Digger
