Did a quick test flight from DTW to MSP. After removing Chaseplane all other addons (BeyondATC, Fenix A320, Activesky and addon airports) behaved admirably. VRAM usage is considerably improved. Stutters are heavily reduced, though still present. Eliminating them completely is probably a pipe dream at this point. I was even able to bump up a few settings and get acceptable performance. Given Asobo's history of debuting a beta with great performance and then rolling it back I am hoping they, as the kids say, keep this energy

I've always thought that until Asobo can implement masking for cockpit displays, frame generation is a better fit for the sim than upscaling. It's a shame their don't appear to be any FG improvements for non 5000s series owners in the update (if I'm reading this right.)
