Hi all, I wanted to share with you how I got rid of my DXGI hung errors in P3DV5. I'm using Win 10 Pro 1909. Amd Radeon VII with latest driver 20.5.1. I highly suggest you back up any files before making any changes!!! In the root p3d folder there are some direct x dll files as below: Some in the D3D12onWin7 folder, and some in the root folder. Assuming you are using 64 bit OS, goto C:\Windows\SysWOW64. In that folder there are a lot of dll's some of them are the same as the ones in the P3D root folder. So basically copy the matching dll's from C:\Windows\SysWOW64 into your root P3D folder and the D3D12onWin7 folder. Overwrite when asked. You are just replacing files that are there, not adding anything new. That's it. Test P3D and see how you go. I have been using this for a couple of weeks and I have not had a single DXGI hung error since doing this. I have not tested this with the view change CTD which only affects a few aircraft, for AMD users. I will test that this evening possibly. NVIDIA users please feel free to try, if you are plagued with DXGI errors. Another thing to bear in mind, you may not have the same files in folder as me, because I accidentally copied a couple of extra ones in there! Just replace the files in your folders! Thank you. I bought pmdg737 and 777 recently. When I retract flaps after take off, speed doesn't increace. Then the nose of airplane is -3° and nearly 0FPM(level flight). Flap indicator shows retract(0°) but the behavior is lake flaps down. This phenomenon happens both 737 and 777. I already tried reinstall PMDG,but it didn't change. What can I do for inprovement?

I ran into this strange issue, V5 was going well for many months with several long hauls etc. Very recently I noticed an issue when i tried to add a new airport scenery via scenery Libray. So when I choose " add area" and normally it shows P3DV5 directly and entire drives and folders to browse through , instead it shows a single "Desktop" folder. When I move curosr around it shows "availability status error". Steps I took after searching was > 1. Backup scenery CFG and delete so as P3D could build a new one ( didnt fix issue) 2. Tried repair using installer ( didnt fix) 3. Reinstalled the entire P3DV5.3 ( didnt fix and it remains same after reinstall as well) I havent seen similar issue with anyone after many seraching. I hope somone can help! -
Hello Nico, the automatic loading of a new flight plan does not work anymore in the latest version. Is it possible that it is related to the xml file of the airport in which I have added the option permanent parking? because I flew yesterday and this morning from and to EDDS and there I have permanently parked helicopters. I attach the log file and the xml file. If you could please have a look. have a nice day regards Pete

Simconnect Exception: load flight plan failed How can i fix this? in the faq and the docu i found nothing about this regards Pete
