Hello, Lorby: I've been away from the sim for awhile but I'm back and I'm trying to connect the X-Touch Mini to AAO (actually with the X-Touch Gauge), but that's only after I can get the X-Touch to work with AAO by itself! So, here's what I've got: AAO version 4.30 b12 for MSFS. I downloaded AAO and installed it per your instructions. The X-Touch is the latest version and set up in "Standard" Mode (as opposed to MC Mode). When I try to assign the X-Touch as a device, it isn't there. However, MIDI Devices ARE enabled and when I "Show MIDI Devices", the X-Touch appears on both panels! I attempted to paste a screen shot of the Assign Button screen but the site wouldn't allow me to; so, when I clicked on "Device", it gave me the choice of "-", "Keyboard", "Mouse", and "Voice". I do not understand why the X-Touch and AAO won't play pretty. I'm hoping you have a clue because I haven't!

Hi, I'm new to AAO and just downloaded the Demo version for a trial for my X-touch Mini controlling the MSFS2020. Under the scripting, I was not able to see anything for "Watch simulation eventsor "Watch simulation variables" whenever I did some turning / clicking of MSFS. I suspect it's caused by the WebAPI. I've checked the Tools menu, the "Enable Web API on port 9080" was not able to be selected/enable. I've checked the port 9080 of my PC is okay and not blocked. Please advise any parameters need to set in order to "Watch simulation events" under "Scripting". My AAO Demo version is 2.81 b05 MSFS. I've checked the "port setting for the WEB" is 8080/9080 for WebFIP/WebAPI respectively. However, I could only see unchecked one module under "Set WebAPI for AAO Addons" as "Lorbysi-content-fippanel -> IP:localhost, Port:9080". I was not able to "Tick" the box of this module. However, the entire box is "Ticked" and have port 9080 set. (the "Set WebFIP for AAO Addons" is similar with only the "Lorbysi-content-fippanel -> IP:localhost, Port:8080" but not able to be cheched. Thanks BC

Hi, I found the modified layered guage files are not running in running MSFS/AAO. It kept on showing my previous version of the guage instead. After a thorough study, I found AAO had changed its default loading directory ( from C:\Users\bc\Documents\LorbyAxisAndOhs Files\Scripts\XTouchGauge) to my recently connected SSD drive (which I use for backup purposes and assigned as X: ). Becuase I backup all my data with the same directory structure as C:, AAO somehow changed layered file loading location to X:\Users\bc\Documents\LorbyAxisAndOhs Files\Scripts\XTouchGauge. That's why my modified layered file in c : has no effect when running the AAO. I would like to check if there is any way to change the layered file directory back to C drive 😄 . Currently , I have to update my modified file to drive X: instead. Cheers!

Hello: I have just completed the first X-Touch Mini and AAO tutorial "How To" video [X-Touch AAO (Axis and Ohs) Lesson 1) and everything worked fine except the actual X-Touch Mini device didn't control anything! So, I went back to the first X-Touch Mini Tutorial (X-Touch Mini Initial Set Up) and discovered that there was a difference in the initial setup of the device. In the AAO tutorial, the Global Channel was set to 10; I have been using (as it came out of the box and with SPAD.neXt) Global Channel 1. I made up a screen shot of each but couldn't paste it into the topic! So, my question is: Where does AAO software specify the Global Channel - there is no mention of it the manual (at least that my search engine could find)? I could use it this way but it would mean that if I wanted to go back, every time I did that I would have to reconfigure the X-Touch. Thanks in advance. UPDATE: Sorry - it made no difference - so, there is something else not connecting the X-Touch to AAO!
