It involves discarding all those self flying all singing, all dancing, G1000 techno planes and using aircraft you strap to your bottom!

 

The San Juan Islands have a welter of grass strips, hard to locate grass strips and 'I've flown over it three times and still can't see it' grass strips. (Only kidding...mostly)

Yes, and I'd still like to do it but I'm a bit short on free time to set it up at the moment.  I could start working on it this weekend, with the plan of flying it the weekend after (Sat 26th Sept).  How does that sound?

 

More than happy to follow Ron round the San Juans this weekend, I rather fancied taking an Auster.....
