They have not released any V3 installers but I was thinking the same thing - not bad - also I think if you check out speed trees they seem to have some cool lighting effect - depending on what direction light is coming from - the other native trees do not very nice lots to explore in V3

Zintertek HD Trees work in P3d V3. According to the author all their installers work fine.
