Guys, I moved the tutorial here.

The support thread is here.

This is to make things more efficient and convenient, for me and you. 1 support thread instead of 3.

Thanks for all the hard work looks amazing - have to give this a go for sure - Adi is hdr in P3D causing the darkness in P3D ? as I would assume sweetfx would make it even darker, thats why I ask if hdr is shut down would it be a brighter environment ?

Much obliged Adi for this excellent blog and downloads. Something I always find a bit confusing is knowing which file needs to be added with the Configurator. Is it the settings or the preset file?

Regards

My SweetFX doesn't add any contrast because it's a very subjective issue, I'm only supplying the basic correct setup. Then, you can add contrast mods. My conclusion though: FSX DX9 is the only case where you need a slight contrast mod. FSX DX10 and P3D2 have great colors right off the bat. In my latest SweetFX for P3D2, I've applied a fix for the brownish tint of stock P3D2. The screenshot I put at the end of the tutorial doesn't have any contrast changes. I want you guys to put that out of your minds, SFX is not only about adding contrast. :)

In the configurator app, you have to add the game by browsing to it's exe file. If SweetFX is installed correctly, it will then display a list of stuff you can change. It's actually reading the SweetFX_settings.txt file into a friendly UI.

Guys, please read the first post. On a second thought, I decided it's best to have 1 source for this tutorial and 1 support thread instead of 3/3. I may keep this blog anyway though. :)
