March 2, 200323 yr hey, will the 737NG include the possibility to change the temprature contollers at the ovh panel? (I want to freeze the cabin on one of those hot summer days just to get sure the passengers are not complaining about the heat ;) ???It might sound a bit weird asking for such feature, but it
March 2, 200323 yr Commercial Member We here at PMDG fully believe that the customer deserves options. To that end, we will offer a 737NG equipped with a Nuclotron Cryogenic Helium Refrigeration Unit installed in the cabin, with corresponding controls on the overhead to keep your passengers comfortably cooled to a nice and brittle zero kelvin. And for the 737NG without that option istalled, the temperature control knobs on the overhead will be functional as well ;)VinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.vinscimone.com/dancnkid.gif Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com

March 3, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hey Vin,I always wondered what the "technical" term was for that system :-hah :-hahThis ting is going to be such a treat to fly!!RegardsPaul:-cool Paul Gollnick Manager Customer/Technical Support Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
March 3, 200323 yr Commercial Member Paul-I gotta get Vin to install one of those Cryogenic Helium Cooling do-hickies in the cockpit of my J-41 for the coming summer!Back before you couldn't do such things- I had a First Officer carry a meat thermometer into the cockpit and determine that it was a nice toasty 130F while we were sitting on the ground at Dulles.... ;-)Robert S. March 3, 200323 yr Commercial Member Patrick-To give you a bit more detail:The entire pneumatic control system is installed- along with both automatic, alternate and manual modes of pressurization control. The cabin atmosphere can be controlled as well, using the same techniques used on the actual airplane. At PMDG we are concerned enough about realism that we consulted the airplane manufacturer to determine what the expected temperature lapse rates would be when heating/cooling the cabin. Those lapse rates have been modeled.....It's a silly little detail- but yes, that is the length that we are going to..... :-lolRobert S. March 6, 200323 yr Hey Rob.First of all, it ain't a silly detail. This is a simulation, right? So that's what we gotta do. Simulate. Everything. :-).Now I had to write something about the above message. Sorry, Rob, but I'll have to call in the Cheese Factor on that one. I enjoy your jokes a lot, but this one will have to struggle to make the cut ;-). Now maybe I'm being unfair, maybe you were sitting in your 130
March 6, 200323 yr Commercial Member Fabio,Didn't you hear about PMDG's latest innovation in aircraft design? The virtual cabin AND cockpit will have *working* cheese-wiz dispensers! This of course was Rob's idea. The controls for the dispenser will allow the user to select from three modes: extra creamy, extra sharp, and of course, extra cheesy! The NG will come fully equipped with a single cracker, a small plastic cup, and a Popsicle stick, for your convenience! :-lolVinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.vinscimone.com/dancnkid.gif Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
