April 24, 200323 yr Man I cannot tell you guys how much I like looking at these birds of yours. The funny thing is that I never really cared too much about the exteriors of the aircrafts I fly. But just look at this thing! Hey Mark, are those stairs corrugated?[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. (Forum Guidelines are pinned at the top of the forum!)I'm running a mid-range PIV machine with a GeForce3 card- and my FPS vary on slightly when switching from stock MSFS aircraft to our airplane. Currently I am averaging 1-2fps loss. (My average is about 24 depending on scenery in view.) Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com
April 25, 200323 yr G'DayI know u probably get annoyed with everyone wanting answers. But would u have any idea what I would expect with my computer?AMD Athlon 1.67Ghz512MB DDR Ram80gig 7500rpm HDGeForece 2 MX400 64MBI get on average between 18 and 25fps when flying.PS. THis is probably a very stupid question. Will this add come with a sound package for each model? Will it cost more?Cheers,Ryan
April 25, 200323 yr Looking great! I'm a big '700 fan, having flown frequently on SWA's 700's. The fact that they almost always cruise between FL390-FL410 makes for a smooth, smooth ride. Any plans on including dynamic wing views? If so, can you include a shot?-John
April 25, 200323 yr John,I've been on a SWA 700 at FL390 and it was everything but smooth... ;-) But you will be able to simulate smooth rides between FL390-410 with our many SWA liveries available (Old colors, new colors, State colors). The 600/700 will only include static wing and cabin views, but the 800/900 will most likely have everything dynamic. It all depends on the frame rates of the end product.Sincerely,
April 26, 200323 yr Commercial Member Ryan,I run an AMD 1700XP with a similar setup except that I have a Geforce ti4400My experience is simlar to Roberts in that the most drop I have seen is in the 1-2 FPS department.
