June 14, 200322 yr I certainly am not trying to stir any trouble, but I was wondering if the new plane needs FSUIPC...http://saltydogfly2.avsim.net/images/avsim_sig.jpg
June 14, 200322 yr Ken, I think the better question is, will it require the new payware FSUIPC for use in Century Of Flight. That I don't know....[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. June 14, 200322 yr Commercial Member Ken-The airplane will require the use of FSUIPC in both FS2002 and FS2004. Pete has been working hand in hand with us on some special needs that we wanted addressed within FSUIPC, and we are working hand in hand with him to help ensure his decision to begin charging for his work is adequately respected. It is too early to reveal details of how the commecial licensing will work with respect to the PMDG airplane, but I would ask that everyone not worry even for a moment about it!At PMDG we put a tremendous amount of effort into ensuring our customers are treated fairly and with respect- and Pete Dowson is very like minded in that regard- so we are working closely to come up with a seemless process for all PMDG customers.Once we have all the details- we'll fill you in on it- but as I mentioned, I would not be overly concerned! Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com
June 14, 200322 yr RobertI know I asked this question once before, but maybe you have more info now. Do you know yet if the 737NG series will work with the PFC equipment. Especially the yoke, rudder pedals and the digital throttle? PFC also uses FSUIPC and works on all addons now and we are assured that it will work with FS2004. I would like to get their jet console but have been holding off until I get some assurance that it will be compatible. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Tom
June 14, 200322 yr Commercial Member Tom-my stock answer to this has always been that whenever a hardware developer sends us sample hardware to program our software with, we do our best to be compatible.I've received emails on numerous occasions from Mike Altman of PFC, but my replies to him have gone quite unanswered... so if someone can check what's up, we'll be glad to discuss with Mike!Cheers, Lefteris Kalamaras - Founder www.flightsimlabs.com
