July 7, 200322 yr Read "APPROXIMATELY" so give them a break and wait for the manual what we all anxious do ;-)Andr André
July 7, 200322 yr My mistake on missing that thread,I will be flying this great aircraft and waiting for the manuals and patch. JeffG
July 7, 200322 yr I would be thoughtful here guys, you have a right to ask questions etc, but NOT to put down and BASH. Be assured this will not be allowed. Maybe they have not answered because they are working on the manual and cannot break away at the moment, the day is not yet up.[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smith[/h5][h6]The Next Great one? July 8, 200322 yr Did any of you ever think that maybe the Manuals haven't been released yet because there are problems with the FMC and such, which in turn would negate the purpose of a manual explaining functions that are not yet possible until fixed?Just a hunch....Personally, I'd rather they focus on bug squashing instead of Manual Releases at this point in time. And I would imagine that the reasons liveries are still being released is probably because the same guys that do the liveries are NOT the same guys tasked with producing the Manuals.Of course you could have gone to the front page and clicked "about us" to see what each team members job was but that is probably to obvious. :-lol *:-* Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3
July 8, 200322 yr Commercial Member Robert said in my registration email a little bit ago that he was working on the manual and patch at that very second. I'd assume they haven't answered cause they're going like mad trying to finish it for us today...Ryan Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
July 8, 200322 yr I agree Randy,This plane has more potential than pretty much anything I've seen, and I've been "playing" with FS for way too many years for a 50 year old man:). Take your time, get it right. I'm having a ball hand flying the thing.( Have to hand fly because I've messed with mainly GA aircraft until now and I don't have a clue what I'm doing with all these fancy avionics! Thanks againGeorge Stoddard
July 8, 200322 yr While I will go the middle ground and neither blindly defend/praise nor become irrationaly uncivil, I think customers are within rights to a degree to expect a manual which we were told expect "on or before the 7th." While we can chuckle at the irony of the company name (Precision MANUALS Development Group) and the lack of manual on release (okay... *groan* I know that was a bad one), it does make one feel naked to not have this.Having been a person who bought ALL of the FS98 manuals from PMDG, I was SO LOOKING FORWARD to a manual to go with this product. Between the aircraft family modeled and the company doing the work, I had high hopes with this product. I know it will emerge a winner, but $40 is setting a new standard in cost for an addon (coming in a 2/3 the sticker price of the underlying sim) and when we are told that "a manual exists and needs to be converted to PDF" it makes me wonder what the delay could be? For such a high profile, high-price item, it is saddening to watch PMDG hit these bumps. Everyone can sense the quality of this product and there are so many GOOD THINGS about it RIGHT NOT too! However, I suppose it IS unnerving to have been told that a manual exists and then have it be mysteriously held back from view. Those of us inquiring about the manual are not being offensive by doing so as long as we are being respectful and polite. Jeff-
July 8, 200322 yr Jeff,It's possible that the delay is because they're adding to the manual to try to deliver a real breakthrough in this department. Regardless, though, for better or worse the plane has been released. We can't go back to yesterday and ask them not to release it yet :) so let's just relax and let them get it finished. The more time they spend looking at these posts the less time they have to finish up the manual and upload it to the site.-Shaun
