Should we keep checking today for the patch?

Guys! Guys! Guys! You think this is frustrating? You should have tried buying the SSW A310. At least PMDG is updating us very often. Personally, I do not care if his hard drive broke because of molesting it. They are updating us and that is the courteous and professional way of doing things. PMDG, keep up the good work. You have my vote. Don't let them (impatient ones) bother you. IMHO, you are doing a fine job. Now hurry up and release the damn patch. J/k

hmm...disregard - posted twice :D

Beautifully written Rob :D ...I'll back you up 100%; don't waste another second on the ones that can only see things through their "negativityglasses" - they simply don't get what life is all about :)When that is said - I'm looking VERY much forward to the patch :) :) :) - gimme gimme gimme ... hehehe ;-)Naah - take your time - the 737NG is a GREAT piece of work ! IMHO best add-on I've ever seen (and believe me - I have seen LOTS) :DMartin

Rob, Yes we did exchange emails over the last few months-how nice of you to point that out in public. Now how about we go into the details on why this was the case? "Don't let a few "children" cloud your opinion of most of us out here"Hmm...Now why would I be one of those "children"? I mean, for the last few weeks I have being defending PMDG. But well ya see things have kind of changed now.Firstly, let me state that I am in the software development industry aswell so I can understand the fact that things dont always work out as planned.Secondly, why should I have to wait for a patch-this product should not have been released as is so I have every right to question the reasons behind the delays. Kindly remind me why I'm a child again? As for this forum-yep I like the way it works most of the time. I like PMDG's attitude towards using it aswell. However, I dont like being called a child when my opinion and concerns differ from that of anyone else.Let me just state again that the only reason I have a problem is that this is the THIRD time a time frame has been broken. I have every right to question it.P.s Rob, the only reason I replied through the forums was because of that little introductory comment you made above. I'll gladly continue this conversation via email if you likeRegardsJohnhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk 650Hours ;)P 2.53 GHZ512 RAMWINXPGFORCE 4 128MB Ti4600http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg

I am frustrated too, but living about 100 miles south of Rob's location in Richmond, Virginia, I will attest to the very nasty lightning storms we've had last week and this week (truly nasty and violent storms that have been taking power out with direct hits).Rob, one thing that helps (beyond surge protectors) is having a UPS for your machines. Unless, of course, you house took a direct hit?Jeff

John,Yes, everyone has a right to question the status of the patch. You are not doing that.. but rather questioning the integrity of the PMDG staff. You are beginning to sound like a troll... and trolls are not welcome here.VinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.vinscimone.com/dancnkid.gif

So Rob if you live 100 miles north of Richmond you must be around DC then? I live in Annapolis, MD. Hehe small world isn't it. I remember that storm, it was BIG up can down the entire coast. It missed me on both sides. I have UPS and not one but TWO surge protectors on my PC, and a big one on my house. Hope the update comes soon, can't wait!
