Thanks Richard, my problem is solved. Regards.

See folks...You just had to have a REAL pilot around ( who likes to tinker ) and ummm has WAY TOO MUCH FREE TIME.The being said - to be honest it was one of those STUPID - "I wonder if THIS might fix it" type of things.I wouldn't suggest anyone doing what I did - I am one of those people who BACKS UP everything before they tinker.Richard GreenVATSIM Controller - former AF DRIVER and all around nice guy http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg

Perhaps I am being a dolt, but I cannot find the "reverse rudder trim" setting within FSUIPC (3.03 version). There is a reverse elevator trim sense checkbox, but it is set to unchecked by default.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/29710.jpgI am getting naaaasty elevator motion with occilations and whatnot, to the point that VNAV stalls the aircraft. I am running on the latest patch, with FS2002. If anyone can point me in the proper direction for this rudder checkbox you are speaking of, I'd love to get this airplane flying as it should...Although secondary - I notice similar flight behaviour when going into accelerated time mode. Pitch control goes nuts (over time), and the autothrottle will not stick to a speed - either it speeds up slowly, or it decelerates slowly. Coming out of accel time makes the throttles "wake up" and seek to normalize the speed. It also calms the ocillations down.-Greg

Hi Greg,I belive it's the Reverse the elevator trim sense. That took care of the problem for me.

I guess I'll try it with the option turned ON... it was defaulted and set to OFF as I experienced the problems. We'll see...It really seems that this bird is VEEEERY sensitive to wind changes and such. If ActiveSky feeds in a wind change, I do have FSUIPC dampening it, but the aircraft just goes nuts. Never departs from authorative control, but it does get into some strange gyrations. -Greg Germ

>Well, then I suggest it

Hi All, I am experiencing the same problem as described here in this thread. I am, however, using FS2K2 and have the Reverse Elevator Trim Sense turned off. On take off, the FD command a quite high pitch: Sometimes over 20 degrees (!), even when fully loaded. I am quite sure I have preflighted as required. Once I engage the autopilot, with LNAV and VNAV engaged, the plane does the described wild oscillations. I have tried to set the trim setting both as indicated by the FMC and various other settings. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, :-waveBoaz
