Well mr/ms jimimac (real name? Please read the forum rules)If you get the take off configuration warning horn you most definitely are not congiured for take off! ;-)Check flaps SET, speed brakes OFF, parking brake OFF, auto brakes RTO and trim setting GREEN area.I bet you have the speed brakes ARMED or auto brakes not RTO and this is not per Boeing instructions!Good luck! :-wave

Hi Mats,All good except the RTO selection.. it will not trigger the TakeOff Config Warning Horn.We really need a FAQ area where ppl can go to have these continuously raised basic questions answered. TTYS,

Shute!I wasn't sure about that one so I icluded RTO as well... :-)Hey Brad, by the way, why isn't it included? Isn't the RTO pretty important. Are you allowed to take-off without RTO?Cheers,

Hi Mats,Normally RTO is on for all takeoffs but in the event of an ANtiskid or Autobrake failure we can still go but leave it off. I guess teh real thing is that the Config Warn is for things that will kill you if you don't correct them.Mats woudl you do me a favour and look through the Geezer Guide.. LMK if there is anything I could explain better.ATB,Brad

Ah thanks Brad. Yeah I do remember that now. If ANTISKID or ABS fail you do NOT set RTO. Thanks for the clarification.I'll be delighted to check the Geezer Guide out. Will report back to you if I find anything! Cheers,
