First things first:Are you talking about the 737NG 600/700, or the 800/900 product? If it's the latter, have you applied all latest updates to it?Regards,

Hi Lefteris,I'm talking about all versions of the NG. When the landing lights are on, the text in AdvDisp vanishes until the landing lights are switched off ... Any clues ... ?(This subject is also being discussed in the Radar Contact forum.)

Hi Lefteris,This problem has been discussed in the Radar Contact Forum as Adam mentioned. It doesn't happen when using a default 737 panel but does with the PMDG panel.I've managed to replicate the problem but for me the display only disappears for a second or so and then reappears. For others the display is staying off until the l/lights are switched off. If I run ShowText on a networked PC via WideFS the problem is also there suggesting it's not a AdvDisp problem. ShowText is bundled with FSUIPC but is not written by Pete. For the record I don't have the 800/900 series but I have applied all patches for the 600-700 series.I'm running in windowed mode with a 2D panel at 1280*1024*32-bit colour.Cheers,

I have been seeing the same problem, Landing-light on, RCv3 text off and vice-versa but I think I may have found a workaround for this problem.I re-displayed the Advdisp window ontop of the 738 2D-panel last night just before I took off from EGLL, (usually have the window "always hidden" as I use Text-Display across a WideFS connection). I then right clicked on the Advdisp window and selected "show multiple lines" and then re-hid the Advdisp window.Low-and-behold I got my RCv3 text back even with the landing-lights on. The only drawback seems to be the green-text window (usually used for AS2004 metar text updates) is now taller (5 or 6 empty lines) than it would normally be. This seemed to work flawlessly on a 8 hour flight from EGLL to OMDB last night. See if it works for you.FS9.1PMDG 736/7/8/9FSUIPC 3.44WideFS 6.44AdvDisp 2.131AS2004.5 163v/r,Al
