Captains-Regrettably, I need to inform all of you that PMDG will be unable to attend the 2004 AVSim conference to be held during the weekend of 17,18,19SEP in Denver, Colorado. We informed our friends at AVSim of this news approximately 4 weeks ago, but had not known for absolute certain that our attendance would be impossible until this morning. As many of you know, the PMDG Development Team is spread across 19 Time Zones and five countries. We consider our relationship with AVSim to be one of the best aspects of PMDG's support capability- and it is only with deep regret that we concluded that it would not be possible to attend this year's event.I informed Tom Allensworth of this news approximately four weeks ago, before the decision was final as we were relatively certain of the outcome of our efforts. Now that we can predict our schedules for the next few weeks it is clear that attendance is not possible tihs year.We are looking forward to next year's AVSim Conference and look forward to meeting many of you face to face at that time!I will be privately putting pressure on AVSim to choose a weekend for the 2005 AVSim Conference that does not come into conflict with The National Air Races- as that would affect next years attendance as well. ;-) I'll keep you posted on my progress! As for future show attendance- it currently appears that we will be able to attend the Aerosoft trade show to be hed in Paderborn, Germany on 02OCT.I'm very sorry that we will be unable to attend as it would have been great fun to meet many of you in person for a change.

We wanted to go also, like wise we have over 20 members in about 5 different countries around the world. We hope that our time situation next year will allow us more flexiblility. It would have been so great to meet some of our customers and our fellow developers.
