October 9, 200421 yr Is this file modified by PMDG during the install of the 737NG? I ask because I am trying to run the FS9 update patch and it keeps halting when it gets to this file. I want to patch FS9, but I do not want to screw up my 737NG!! October 9, 200421 yr This did not happen to me, it went in clean, now there was a delay while certain files got updated. I walked away for minute during the install and when I returned to the computer it said congratulation you have succesfully installed FS9.1I don't believe that the FS9 patch touches any 3rd party add-on. Now the readme does make reference to any changes that you may have made to most .dll's. If so you should change them back to the original.Bob

October 9, 200421 yr Author Roger that, thanks. Well, something changed it, but I just put back the default dll from the cd and the patch installed fine. Patch works like a champ!!ChuckAthlon XP 2800+ | ASUS A7N8X Deluxe | Antec TruePower 480 PS | 1.0 gig DDR PC2700 | WD 60 gig HDD | WD 40 gig HDDTwin WD 160 gig SATA HDDs | SB Audigy 2 | ATI Radeon 9800Pro 128 | CH Products USB Yoke | CH Products USB PedalsNostromo n52 | Windows XP Pro SP2http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg Chuck Blake Intel Q9450 CPU ASUS P5E64 WS Evolution Mobo 2.0 gig Corsair DDR3 1800 TWIN3X20481800C7DFIN WD 750 gig HDD SB Audigy 2 XFX Nvidia 9800-GX2 Black Edition CoolerMaster UCP Series 1100w PSU CoolerMaster Cosmos 1000 Case Sharp LC32GP3UB 32" HD LCD Dell 2405 24" Widescreen LCD CH Products USB Yoke, Pedals, Throttle Quad Windows XP Pro SP3
October 9, 200421 yr Hi,I had the same problem, the fs9 update stopped every time it got tothe "panels.dll" file and then apported. My solution was to extract thisfile from the fs9 install disk #2 and move it into the fs9/module folder. The fs9 upgrade now worked fine, how is one to know which addon caused the problem? Checked all addons and they seem to work ok.My two cents.ThanksHelmut - CYYZ
October 9, 200421 yr I had the same problem. Had to uninstall and reinstall everything. Now I have a couple of problems to have fun with. lolI had a couple of gauges stop working and a TCAS add-on stopped working. Other than these issues I think everything else is ok.We shall see. So far I haven't noticed anything better about FS2004. Personally I couldn't care less about bridges. Most of the time I am flying above FS400 with the ESCX.Waldo
