PMDG & WX Radar? read here

Clayton, I almost NEVER autoland, takes all the fun of flying away for me. I love to check my skils on croswind landings, wind gust etc. However today was an exception. Landing in Philadelphia in a wopping snowstrom, the visibility was 50 feet, 1/8 of a mile, heavy snow and fog. I did not see the runway until I went over the approach lights. Rolled to the end of the runway where I poked slowly toward the gates, could not read the taxi signs.BTW right after I landed the FAA closed the airport, can't imagine why :-).Bob

It had my heart beating fast Clayton, can you imagine? The airport is suppose to open soon. As you know we have a very BIG football game in both Philly and Pitssburg tomorrow. Read on a Philly site they will be removing snow all night and there is a forecast for some more in the morning.Bob

Percentage wise, I'm not sure. I'll fly it manualy VFR. IFR up to CATII, I'll disengage autopilot at 200 AGL. CATII and beyond, I'll autoland.
