May 25, 200521 yr To each his own. I for one do not mind waiting for a good product with few if any errors rather than one that meets a deadline. I can't tell you how many error prone bug infested deadline met programs I have purchased and only used for a short time then shelved them. I for one will wait for a good product.
May 25, 200521 yr Famous saying " all good things come to those who wait ".The start of Beta is near (I can feel it in my bones, as my mother always tells me).Patience is the essence of virtue.
May 26, 200521 yr > I say PMDG flexibility on release dates seems>good.>>Well... what do you mean with good? A year delay so far... and>the end is still not in sight. Think twice about your point.>>Greetings, PeterHow many high fidelity FS add-ons have you created? How many add-ons have you beta tested? How much experience do you have in FS development? I'm willing to guess the answer is NONE to all those questions. You really should have some experience in the area you are trying to critique. This whole whiney impatient attitude is lame. The add-ons will be done when they're done. Live with it or find a new hobby. Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3

I'm a software-engineer myself and know how much time it can takes. But it just wasn't clever of PMDG to announce "Expected Summer 2004". I can't imagina they believed it theirselfs at that time. Fortunality, PMDG has learned of this mistake, now they don't give a possible release date of the MD11. But when a possible release date is given, it's really frustating when it gets a year delay and you see that aircrafts developed later are coming out earlier (B1900C).This is my opinion.Greetings,Peter

There is no logic in that. Many groups have multiple projects going on simultaneously. I would imagine the 1900C came out before the 747 because the 1900C is not nearly as complex a product, nor is it marketed that way. This lower level of complexity ultimately means less development time. Essentially, you need to stop comparing the 1900C to the 747, as there is no comparison. They never gave a release date for the 747. They said "expected Summer 2004". There is a big difference. The term "expected" is nothing more then a best guess at the time. It is up to you too use a little common sense and not get upset when something does not happen right when you want it too or expect it too. So it isn't out yet. Big deal. It will be released when it's done. You should be happy that some group decided to take on a project of this magnitude instead of complaining about why it isn't here yet but something else is.Patience is a virtue. ;):) Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3
