Gents-This thread provides two examples of a similar instance I happen to find a bit disturbing.PMDG is a commercial entity that provides products and support to our customers based upon the types of products and support we wish to receive as participants in the community.I have yet to figure out why it is that some folks are so eager to believe that we would simply ignore a valid request for a customer... Is that state of technical support in the sim-addon business so poor that this is a norm?At PMDG we have a member of the team who does nothing but technical support. He clears the technical support system nearly every night (unless he's on an airplane or in a location without adequate internet service) and generally responds within 12hours, in spite of the fact that we do not assure service except within 48-72....Folks, there is simply no reason we would ignore you. We see over and over some individuals will come here screaming because we won't pay attention to them, and more often than not when we check our support cue- there is "more to the story" than you get in the screaming festival here in the forum...The entire PMDG development team "hangs" in this forum....How bad could things possibly be?I wish folks would take a deep breath and recognize that there is not reason for us not to answer- and if you don't get an answer- "something is in the way." Take sound, prudent steps, and don't throw the anger around unless/until we write you back and say, "we are going to ignore you."A small amount of common courtesy goes a long way....

Hi Robert.R + Team.I think its fair to say that to whom ever is interested in pushing this thread to the end of the earth and beyond!, Robert.R has now FULLY made his point on this subject with a full and proper explaination from the PMDG Teams perspective. Please let ALL of the PMDG TEAM get on with REAL work and STOP wasting their time. This matter should be now closed and if possible the thread removed.Capt.bdelAer Lingus

I find it amazing that people even *expect* such lightning fast response. I've worked in the IT industry for over 4 years and it still blows me away how demanding people are of support from this area.People seem to expect more help, assistance, and one-on-one help from a piece of software that they didn't even spend $50 on than the $20,000 car they just bought.neil
