Gents-I'm "planning" to be there currently- but I'm not sure during which times. Most likely I'll come up for a period of time on both days. I'll give you more definitive schedule information as soon as I have it!Anyone else interested in coming out? We could make it an informal gathering...

Hey Guys!Sorry- this weekend was spent with the airplane torn open cleaning every crack and crevice for the upcoming show season- and I was barely answering my own email. Here are my plans for the EAA event at Truckee Airport (KTRK) for 09MAY and 10MAY.On 09MAY- we will be bringing the SNJ-6 up with a planned arrival time of 12Noon. It is unclear yet if we will leave the airplane at KTRK or return it to it's home airport- that will be dictated by the cost/need for gas. :-) (Truckee is usually a full dollar/gallon higher than some surrounding fields...)On 10MAY- we will arrive in the very early morning- but I will be involved in some activities until around 10:30. The SNJ will be available for viewing during that time- and I'll be free to converse/meet from around 10:30 until approximately noon when we will return the airplane to Nevada. If anyone wants to meet informally- by all means please come up! I've hesitated to "commit" to having much free time simply because I wasn't sure until today what role I'd be playing- and didn't want to be too busy to chat. For the most part- I'll be hanging around the SNJ answering questions and or generally trying to look busy keeping her from drooling oil on herself. (PW's don't drip oil- they mark their territory...)If you happen to be around when we land tomorrow- it'll be obvious it's us: Silvery SNJ with a yellow nose- and WWII medals painted on the cheek panel, left side. (And my big-apple-eatin'-grin in the cockpit...)If anyone can make it- drop a note in this thread- i'll check here before I head out for the briefing tomorrow morning!
