April 6, 200719 yr Hi Folks,I know that you can add the winds in the 737 - is this possible also in the 744 ?Thanks Marek
April 7, 200719 yr Go to the legs page and make sure you are not in PLAN mode on the EFIS. At the bottom right corner of the FMC, it should say RTE DATA. That will bring you to the winds page. You simply type the heading then the windspeed (correct format:HDG/SPD). If you get a "INVALID ENTRY" error, make sure you are trying to put in data for a waypoint AFTER T/C. You cannot put in data for waypoints before T/C and after T/D.Ryan GamurotLucky to live Hawai'ihttp://www.virtualpilots.org/signatures/vpa296.png Ryan Gamurot
April 7, 200719 yr Wasn't aware you had to be in PLAN mode on the ND to enter wind in the FMC. I'm always able to do it in MAP mode. Phil Brown
April 7, 200719 yr Are you referring to enroute winds or descent winds..------------------------------------------------------------------Joe FritschChief Operations OfficerNoble Air VAhttp://www.nobleair.com"It's not the fall that kills ya. April 8, 200719 yr If your are in PLAN mode, you will have STEP at the bottom of the LEGS page. You want RTE DATA which shows in MAP mode.Ryan GamurotLucky to live Hawai'ihttp://www.virtualpilots.org/signatures/vpa296.png Ryan Gamurot
