December 22, 200718 yr I've been noticing that on the 737's system annunciator panel I've been receiving an air conditioning warning during the final approach phase. I'm unsure as to why or how correct it. Or is this normal?Everything was set before take-off and all warnings were cleared. It usually occurs shortly after capturing the ILS.Hope someone can supply an answer. Thanks,Jim D.a.k.a. ilovetofly
December 22, 200718 yr This usually lights up when a descent is started before reaching the altitude that the pressure cabin controller is set to for cruise. Dan Downs KCRP
December 22, 200718 yr Author Thanks Dan, that makes sense since I have been doing take-offs and landings at KSJC to practice the procedures. It's been a while since flying the 737 so I need the practice.Jim D.
December 22, 200718 yr Along the same lines, on the top panel there is a warning light 'off descent path' (not sure the exact wording). I had this come on, and while on the ground resetting the system -- I couldn't figure out how to reset it.When I set the new flight plan and took off, it seems to have corrected itself?

If you don't like seeing the air cond light on RECALL, just dial in the current altitude in the flight altitude indicator and the air conditioning light will go out along with the off schedule descent light.John F.
