February 18, 200818 yr HelloI am used to flying all aircraft with the attitude indicator displayed. This dos not appear possible with the 747-400 as it is located well below the rim of the panel.Any advice on how to correct this - other than standing on the seat to land?Aybehttp://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannerbeta.jpg Andy Brockbank
February 18, 200818 yr Move the eye point or use the 2D panel.I've reassigned the MSFS default eye point movement key commands to make it easy for me. I use:Shift+E ForwardShift+X BackwardCtrl+E UpCtrl+X DownCtrl+S LeftCtrl+D RightNote the keys form a diamond on the keyboard, the Ctrl key commands move within a plane and the Shift key commands move the plane.I usually use the 2D panel for preflight and takeoff, because I don't like the way the 3D panel moves during acceleration. February 19, 200818 yr OK, i don't know if i am right, but if this occurs in the VC, you have the abillity to lower the yoke so you can see the PFD and ND in "normal view".To do this just clic on the top of the yoke and it will lower a little bit.Clic again to return the yoke as it should be.Sorry if this is not wat you mean.
