October 15, 200817 yr Just wondered, what are typical routes for the MD-11? I know KLM uses one on their Schiphol - Dutch Antilles route (don't even know exactly which of the islands actually - could be Aruba or Curacao :shame: ). Is it also used in short(er) flights? Thanks!(oh, and I don't have it yet - have to wait till the end of the month, I'm afraid) ------------------------------------------------- Gert Wijbrans

October 15, 200817 yr I know for a fact that UPS flies from Honolulu (PHNL) to Sydney (YSSY) in an MD-11F. I'm not sure of the frequency of this service, though. You can see one at Sydney most days. Matthew Bellette

October 15, 200817 yr Try flightaware.com to find all MD11 flights that originate/terminate in the US. Navigate via Live Tracking to View All by Type then enter MD11 for Select Type.. this will bring up all MD11/MD11F flights. There are 39 in the air in this category right now. Dan Downs KCRP
