July 14, 200322 yr Hi,I just completed a flight with the new TCAS. The installation was, like before, a no brainer. And it worked perfectly. The problem. The hand-sign that appears on the stop-watch start buttons and the EHSI range selectors didn't appear at all. The switches do work, but the hand does not appear as before.Strange...Tero PPL(A)
July 14, 200322 yr Hi Tero,.....you are not alone! The same here!RegardsEdmundo--------http://pwp.netcabo.pt/ega Edmundo Azevedo
July 14, 200322 yr I have had that issue on and off for several months and always attributed it to changes in display settings, undocked windows, and the fact that I had made so many alterations with the additions of pushback, taxi, audio, landing, servinfo, and tcas features. Through that period I had adjusted so much to the hand not showing up that I never considered the possibility that the TCAS Gauge may have contributed to it. We will have to give Lee a day or two to take a look at that as I am sure he will do very quickly.Mike
July 14, 200322 yr Same problem here... the pointer does not always change to the hand, however, I am still able to click no problem. Once the click is made the hand reappears.A little odd... no big problem though.Might be a problem for someone who is not familiar with the hidden click spots.... right DS? :-)

July 14, 200322 yr It sometimes happens for me too, but I doubt it has anything to do with my code. I'm just telling the panel SDK to draw a hand for my click regions. If it decides not to, what can I do?Lee Hetherington (KBED)
July 14, 200322 yr I don't think it is related to your gauge Lee. I should have added in my first message that this "problem" pre-dates the installation of your TCAS.
July 15, 200322 yr Author Hi,Well, I don't think of this problem as a serious one. Not at all.But it started right after installing the new TCAS. With the older version, it worked fine.Tero PPL(A)
July 15, 200322 yr Same symptoms here. Old gauge OK, new one makes the hands go bye bye. Back to the old gauge for now. Great work for producing both of the gauge versions BTW!Gary 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
July 15, 200322 yr You're seriously not going to use the new gauge because you don't get a little hand? I think the click spots still work without the hand.:-hmmmLee Hetherington (KBED)
July 15, 200322 yr Author Lee,I can confirm that the click spots indeed work even without the hand. It can be a bit confusing at first, when one is used to seeing the hand there... But I guess it's okay. The new gauge is otherwise far superior to the old one, and I'm at least keeping the new one. But if you'd like to look at that "bug" I wouldn't resist either ;).Tero PPL(A)
July 15, 200322 yr Same problem here... except I didn't even notice it until I read this post. No big concern. So like many have already said before... thanks, Lee, for all your hard work towards enhancing the functionality of PIC!!
July 15, 200322 yr Does this missing hand start right away (i.e., start FS2002 fresh, select PIC) or does it only happen after flying a while? For those that it is happening to, it never happens with my old gauge?Within a day, I might put together a test version for a couple of you to try. I'm wondering if I try a different cursor besides hand if it goes away (e.g., use the "+" that PIC uses).Lee Hetherington (KBED)

But like I said, no big deal, it still works. And who can really complain when the product is free?:-)
