>>>>...and speaking of Takeoff Ref, I discovered yesterday that you can manually enter a V1 value of 300kts without our 767 FMC's batting an eyelid!<<<

>I would love to know how you program an FMC in the air after>take off! Man, that realism is just what I am looking to by>into>>Well Bill, if it hasn't happened to me I wouldn't mind telling you guys. If the battery is exhausted and you haven't programmed the FMC, better take off and do all the rest up there. The momment you undock any of the two windows, FS2004 will crash.Even the APU has nothing to do with this. I had the APU running, and even though the battery discharged. I even tried to turn on anti colision and wing lights, and it was no use while on the ground. The momment the aircraft left the ground, all lights worked, and I could undock the windows.Just tryit yourself. Get into the panel with both engines shutdown, wait a couple of minutes then undock the EICAS window. After a few seconds: Blast! to the desktop with no error message.>What kind of battery does FS2004 take? Will a 1.5V AA work? I never realized undocked windows use more power than docked ones.Well Lee, it really doesn't have anything to do with power consumption, but you can also tryit yourself and see what happens.I don't know if the battery turns the avionics master switch off, but I guess she does. I even tried to assign an Avionics master switch to a key and tried to turn it on several times with no response from the radios, lights, I couldn't even file an IFR plan because I had NO radios working.

hi! thanks for a patch! but if now i can't see PIC menu and windows, can you tell, how can i force my PIC to load with EVERYTHING OFF every time. when i load flight, i have engines and systems on :(..

"...enter a V1 value of 300kts without our 767 FMC's batting an eyelid!..."i hope your talking about 767PIC?(and not the real ones?)

"...enter a V1 value of 300kts without our 767 FMC's batting an eyelid!...""i hope your talking about 767PIC?(and not the real ones?)"No, real one here, Lenny. Not that you {b]would[/b] enter such a silly value in normal ops ;-) Only by accident... but then it would have been picked up by the other pilot. No?Cheers.Ian.

Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question. But, the instructions says to edit the fs9.cfg file. I can

if you have windows XPYou need to turn on hidden folders, that is by going into one of your folders, and clicking tools--options, show hidden files and folders (you can and probably should turn it off after you are done editing)Then you goto MY computer--->C (or whatever your main harddrive is)-->Documents and Settings--->{your user name}--->Application Data-->Microsoft (or microsoft Games)---> FS9

forget
