Daryl, I don't think we have to be like this to each other. It does no one any good. Believe it or not I have respect for the PIC guys here regardless of my dedication to the other aircraft. This was once my *home* forum as you know. I certainly do not wish a my sim vs your sim thing going on in here, I am sure Wade does not need to baby sit us since we are adults. PIC needs no defence, it's well loved by many. I look forward to PIC V2 as much as the next guy. No one is perfect, we all have our own unique ways of dealing with people, I am far from perfect too, but I think it's not a bad idea to at least look at what goes on in this forum for the sake of PIC and Wade, we do not want to scare people away by our actions or arguing. I hope this leads to us going back to sharing our knowlede with those new ones. This forum will be filled with such people with PIC V2, maybe we can put all this bad feelings in the past? Daryl,I'm not a regular poster on this forum but read it regularly. Ever thought that maybe some folks don't now how to do an affective search. The fellow with the original question had a total of three posts. Oh well, I guess you knew how to do everything when you first started, but I know I didn't and guess what, I still don't

737 fanatic day :)I like it!

I agree with the "737 fanatics" as you call them now. Stop being a cop, it's not nice to have people cuss you off when you ask something. If you do this on a forum, I can't even start to grasp how you'd do on a customer support job. lolJust open the post. If it's a repeat question, don't reply. That simple.Daniel P.

What's this "737 fanatics" vs "767 fanatics" stuff all about ? Reminds me a bit of Kindergarten : "My little toy car is better and faster than yours". "No, mine is".On my HD there's enough room for both planes to stay peacefully beside each other :)If I see messages like Richard giving up his Navdata, the tone in this forum, more and more very talented freeware designers giving up, then what has become of this community. Is this still a hobby for you policemen guys here ?Sigh ...Mike

My favourite real manuals thread, roughly translated from a German forum a while ago :4 Users, for each one I use number 1, 2, 3 and 4.1 : I have nice new plane, can someone tell me where I can find tutorial for that calculator thingie ?2 : What calculator are you talking about ?1 : That thing with the buttons 0 to 9 and the little monitor.2 : Airbus or Boeing ?1 : Airbus2 : So, first of all, that is not a calculator. In Airbus this is called MCDU3 : How can you say that ? Airbus has a CDU, not an MCDU.2 : Naaa, come on. Airbus has an FMGS and MCDU : MULTIPURPOSE CONTROL and DISPLAY UNIT3 : No, it's FMC : FLIGHT MANAGEMENT COMPUTER : And not MCDU, it's CDU2 : Ha, ha, you are talking about Boeing, not Airbus3 : Don't fool me, my real manual says FMC and CDU. You better get a manual first and then talk2 : You must be too stupid to read. Anyone sell you Boeing manual and told you it's Airbus. I have also real manual and it says FMGS and MCDU on page XXX. Clearly Airbus has MCDU....conversation about real manuals and MCDU / CDU continued a while until almost both verbally killing each other4 : Guys, if you don't mind, just a question : exactly which plane are you talking about2 . Airbus A3203 : Airbus A3104 : Arggghhh. Not all Airbus are the same. A310 has FMC/CDU, A320 has FMGS/MDCU1 : This is nice what you guys are discussing, but can anyone come back to my original question :DMike

Well done guys... And now the big question: will there be a PICv2, and will it work with FS2004??:-batJust kidding of course... heheh :-lolTerops. I'm also looking forward to SU2 of PMDG (because I bought the damn thing in the summer and have not completed a SINGLE flight with it HAH). And while I know this is not the PMDG forum, I think some small comparisons here and there will be fine between the two products. But let's wait until both of the products are up and running, and doing their "finest". Any comparisons earlier than that are not needed.Oh, we're arranging a Finnish Virtual Aviator's "simulator weekend" here in Oulu this weekend. Here's two pics where we are setting up a "757 simulator" at the HQ. It will have a video projector visual on the white wall there, plus all the stuff that is visible in the picture. Not pretty, but so nice to fly with ;). And takes like 20minutes to setup. Notice what sim we are running... can you say P I C ?me on the right, Jari Mikkil
