January 6, 200422 yr Ilan, there will be a number of different shipping options. One that looks promising is Air Freight. This would involve you picking up from the airline's cargo offices at the airport. Price wise it looks like being approx 1/2 the cost of Express Package (FEDEX/UPD/DHL), but with the same convenience - ie ships next available flight.
January 6, 200422 yr I've just taken the plunge and pre-ordered a unit. For someone living in the UK it is amazing value, considering that other units can cost around 150 GBP more! I'm thinking it might help me practice for multi-engine flying, asymmetric flying and all that! Its costing me the same as the price of one hour in a UK twin :-cool I presume that UK customs would be interested in seeing these units on arrival. So I guess would I have to pick it up from HMS Customs and Excise (after paying heavy VAT I guess)Ahh well, it looks amazing and well worth it.
January 6, 200422 yr Hi,Glad to hear that the gates will be implemented all the way.My concern is that, will you also continue shipping the product in the future, or will it only be a small batch now and more if there's market ? I mean in the spring, summer etc. ?Tero PPL(A)
January 6, 200422 yr "Throttle now has Gates at 1 and 20 Flap setting. :-)"Now that's what I call great service :-)Thanks, Haroon.Cheers.Ian.
January 6, 200422 yr Yeah!I was like what the hell, it took a day to change it :). It makes a difference to talk about things. Then another difference is made if the company listens to what is told. And that difference tends to stick.Tero PPL(A)

January 7, 200422 yr Goodness, the UK are tight. AFAIK a package declared a 'gift' won't be subject to a customs fee, unless its value is quite large. Depends on the customs officer too. I think goods up to $500AUD are free of duty. Cheers,John TavendaleTextures by Tavers - https://www.facebook.com/texturesbytavers
