April 20, 200422 yr Hi all!Version 3.0 of our 757 flight dynamics is now available at www.simradar.com.NEW in v3.0:- pitch/speed values corrected to match real Boeing data in all phases of flight as close as possible- stall speeds corrected (clean stall speed still is a bit lower than it should, not feasible to rectify)- fixed the bug where sudden wind changes caused by realweather programs would cause the FDE to slow down during climb and/or cruise- small corrections to climb performance- decreased the ground effect to match the behaviour of a real 757 (the FDE ballooned way too easily)- improved pitch and roll properties to match real 757 performance- increased the nosewheel turning range, the aircraft will now turn in a lot tighter radius- corrected ground acceleration in the takeoff roll to match real 757 performance- created IDLE descent with correct FPMs for the entire descent- corrected FLAP/SLAT animation sequences (visual model)To download, goto:http://www.simradar.com/File/2653/Boeing_7...ersion_3_0.htmland select "DOWNLOAD".We recommend using these performance tables by Matt Zagoren in conjunction with the FDE.http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?DLID=12749Finally:Use the Pilotmedia flight planner (http://www.pmfp.com) to plan your flights with this FDE to get accurate fuel calculations. The PMPF (and our FDE) uses Eurocontrol BADA fuel performance tables, so it will be accurate for our FDE. PMFP doesn't account for the winds on the flight, so you need to figure out the needed extras etc. yourself using SWC charts.---This release will conclude our work on the FS2002 757 FDE. Our next project will most likely be a 757 FDE for FS2004, should there arise a need for one ;).We hope you will enjoy flying this baby !!Kind regards,Tero & Sebastian PPL(A)
April 21, 200422 yr Cheers...and thanks for the info on the pmfp flight planner.A really gooddiscovery for me.Once again many thanks :-) Happy landings
April 21, 200422 yr Author Jacko,See the URL I pasted, it's a web pased flight planning tool that incorporates everything you should ever need. It does realworld briefing packages, and enables you to file your fp's straight into VATSIM as well.Tero PPL(A)
April 21, 200422 yr Hello,Thank you very much for this update,I am looking for the merge files to have the 757 and the PIC panel working together.I know that there are a lot of threads about this, but if I remember, we have to request for the files.Well, I one could sent it to me at the following adress, i certainly would appreciate it.<
April 22, 200422 yr Do these files allow you to not have to use POSKY with the FDE?If so, please mail them to me also. ([email protected])Thank you so much!
April 22, 200422 yr Author Guys,Read the very first message of this thread. There is a download link.Tero PPL(A)
April 22, 200422 yr Thank you Teropa. You have blessed all of us to at last be able to fly the 757 and PIC panel in tandem with no glitches or errors.I was wondering, if I entered the 128,000kgs as the ZFW for takeoff and the 107,000kgs for landing still, would I continue to get accurate V speeds produced by the FMC? Or has that changed now?Regards,Alexander Martin.http://img33.photobucket.com/albums/v99/wa.../alexbanner.jpg
April 22, 200422 yr HeyI still got one problem. When taking off my EGT becomes yellow at 880.How can this be fixed, so it won
April 22, 200422 yr Neither the PIC 767 or this modified 757 will truely accurate V speeds with the entry of a weight into the FMC alone.
April 22, 200422 yr Tero and Sebastian :Saying just "Thank you" is not enough....:-jumpy :-jumpy :-jumpySamuel Kalachoras :-waveAthensGreece Sam. Waiting for the 64-bit PSION Flightsim for ZX-Spectrum ////
