September 15, 200421 yr Cats do what "They" and not what you want them to do. As for the bite, you can die and or get very sick from a cat bite. My dad almost lost his hand from a pet cat's bite. His hand looked as if he was bitten by a rattle snake. He had to go to the hospital and get anti-biotics via IVs for several days.Terry
