I was very happily surprised a few days ago, to be invited to participate in the Charityflight event for this weekend.Just like Rich, above, I had the opportunity to fly the LSD 767. I flew the Maniula to Seoul leg.My first thought, is to tell all the folks that are impatiently waiting for this product that, that as with several others that are taking their time to be released, this one will also be worth the wait.I was very impressed with the panels. They are obviously very familiar, because they are, after all, those of a 767. However, even in the small 17inch monitor, the colors very bright, the gauges clear and the new options for the V/C. I am sure that the V/C will certainly be the preferred mode for many flyers. There also is a F/O panel, very attractive. It was easy to taxi it around the various tight corners of the departure airport, and effortless easy to get it in the air. The sounds are much improved from the PIC767 V1, and those were already quite nice. The flight model is very nicely done and extremely responsive. Sufice it to say, that Bill urged me to disconnect the FMC and even the A/P, and hand-fly it from about 25 miles out, to an approach in FMC conditions. I am really not that great a pilot, but I could have fooled you on that approach! :-)While I think that it is ready to pack and ship, obviously the developers are not quite ready yet. I have learned that if they have to take their time, it is for a very good reason, and we all benefit form that at the end.Soooo..... while you wait for the LSD 767, fire up your FS9 and go for a flight. Better yet, get a new aircraft for it!! The Flight1 ATR still smells of paint, and the DF727 just went into the paint shop. Just as it was worth waiting for these, it will be worth waiting for the LSD 767.RobertoI just wanted to make sure, that you know that I also have the pleasure of being a DF727 Beta tester [http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/Forum_Banners/Stopnicki01.jpg]

Sounds like it's done :-hmmmI'm beginning to think release dates are contingent based on other products that are developed as payware.

I had a chance to fly it at AVSIM and I agree with your comments. Even the current PIC handles remarkably like the real simulator. At AVSIM, I flew the 737-300ER at United with one of their chief pilots in the right seat and he taught me lot about how to handle pitch when flying manually during takeoff, climbout, descent and final. I set up the same departure-arrival scenario on my simulator at home and found that the things he taught me executed perfectly when I tried them with the PIC767. It will be awesome when the new one comes out (and I can finally say goodbye to FS2002).Dr. Ghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/96617.jpg

Dr. G,Nice set-up..Would you be so kind as to share with us some of the chief pilots tips on how to handle pitch when flying the 767 manually during the takeoff, climbout, & descent phases. Regards and lucky you.jack

Sorry, I meant to type a flew tips on the 737 not the 767...Just curious about the procedure since it would probably apply to the 67 as well.Regards again, jack
