well from hearing our test pilots talk.. Id say about 90% givin th elack of a few things like wx radar..etcand the sensation of flight. But other than that you wont fine a more complete addon for flightsim. (until the PMDG 744 from what I hear)Gary HayesLevel-D Simulations Development TeamNo im not a "real" pilot, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.P4 3.0ghz w/HT & FSB..GeForce FX 5900 ultra 256MB..1 gig PC3200 DDR RAM..Sound Blaster Audigy w/5.1 THX

If any desktop sim comes close to 1% of the real aircraft (including PS1), I would be very surprised. You don't pay millions of dollars for real Level D sims for nothing ...and even more for the real thing ;-)AFAIK, LDS1 doesn't model tyre wear, potable (drinking) water depletion, drain mast heating failure, blocked galley plumbing, circuit breaker operation, the effect of window heat failure (misting and structural integrity during birdstrikes), EICAS maintenance screens, MEC computer testing effects on cockpit displays, cockpit window opening, rudder pedal fore/aft adjustment, control column interphone switches, cockpit speaker volume controls and muting circuits, Elevator Feel force on control column, the (tactile) feel of real control panel knobs, the (fortunately) rare smell of burnt out electrical components, adjustable aircon gasper nozzles, footwarming controls, CRT screens with fingerprints on them, biscuit crumbs and coffee stains on the pedestal control panel, you can't feel the heat/cold on your body when you adjust the cabin temperature, you can't flirt with the hosties, the engineers fix the aircraft defects in the blink of an eye (or slightly slower).... You don't have to worry about cockpit door security, hijacking, abusive passengers, fuel prices, running out of ACARS Printer paper (and figuring out how to load ACARS Printer paper), walkarounds in the rain, incident report paperwork, overfilled wastepaper baskets, intermittent keys/buttons (unless your computer keyboard is faulty), illegible decals on control panels (unless you have a low res screen),...Having said that, if both pilots ate the fish, you might just have a 50-50 chance of getting a real aircraft down in one piece (if you mastered the FMC, Autopilot, etc) ...unless you ate the fish, too :("Reality" is in the eye of the beholder ;-)Cheers.Ian.

What the... Dang, Ian have you sneaked a webcam into my home? ;) Burnt out components, unsuccesful attempts at chatting up hosties, overfilled wastepaper baskets. It

Yes, that's true.I also heard that you will be able to merge the OLD PIC and the Voyager 1992 to be fully operable in FS2004. In case the new LDS sim doesn't suit your needs.Judging from the amount of interest this merge has received, it'll be a hit!Tero
