February 21, 200521 yr Commercial Member No there isn't, but the speeds, etc. are provided by the FMC. While not true to life the FMC will set the speed bugs for you. If you prefer to do that yourself a search of the Internet will provide what you're looking for.Wade
February 21, 200521 yr Hi,I was wondering if you got any takeoff performance charts avail???Ie. Vspeeds, power settings and etc.If possible also landing perf.
February 21, 200521 yr Ok thanks Wade. But I was wondering how you people program the FMC if you don't have these manuals/charts.Anyway, I'm looking fwd to the release. ;)
February 21, 200521 yr Once you add the weight, winds, temp etc the FMC calculates the speeds. Cheers,John TavendaleTextures by Tavers - https://www.facebook.com/texturesbytavers
February 21, 200521 yr MSFS doesn't simulate most of the effects that the charts are designed to be used to correct for (wet/dry runway, slope, etc) so there would be no advantage to having them. A simplified model where the CDU displays the appropriate values works fine in the environment we're talking about.Luck.P
February 21, 200521 yr Commercial Member John,on B767 FMC's with VSpeed calculations, these calculations don't change with wind or temp. Only a function of weight. Many FMC's don't have this capability installed because the calculations are too general. Only advantage to them is the calculation of Vr which can be compared to the computed Vr the pilots come up with to reduce the risks of a tailstrike.Regards,Mark Mark Foti Author of aviaworx - https://www.aviaworx.com
February 21, 200521 yr Yeh I know, but it's for the feeling you get if you have a realworld FMC with all the options in it.
February 21, 200521 yr "...for the feeling you get if you have a realworld FMC with all the options in it."You like that lost, bewildered, sense of wonderment and "what's it doing now" feeling like I get when I enter the wrong thing in the FMC?Wish I could help you R but I don't have the 767 numbers...but I'll see what I can scrape together for youTim__757
February 22, 200521 yr Commercial Member Why not make the info publically available? I'm sure it would interest mose users here... Mark Foti Author of aviaworx - https://www.aviaworx.com
