May 30, 200521 yr Author As a Level-D registered, paying customer, I should be able to seek help in the support forums if I so choose. By being blocked from participating in the forums in this way my rights as a customer have been stripped. So I really do not understand why they (Level-D) feel it necessary to block the support forums the way they do. I think the forums should be opened up irregardless of whether a customer is registered or not. Other developers such as PMDG have an open forum, where you don't need to have a valid registration code to use the forum. So why can't Level-D be the same way to prevent this problem from happening where my hands are tied when I want to seek support for a product? I previously registered in good faith and now cannot login to the support forums. May 30, 200521 yr Commercial Member The decision to allow only registered users into the support forum is sound and reasonable. Now, as a registered user, your inability to access the support forum is not acceptable.Let's try to solve your issue... or has the cookie problem been solved?http://www.pic767flyingclub.com/siggies/ds.jpg The SUPPORT FORUM for Level-D Simulations products: http://www.leveldsim.com/forums

May 30, 200521 yr This may sound like a dumb question, but have you tried contacting Flight1 by e-mail, and explaining the problem you're having? BobK
May 30, 200521 yr Author Bob, Been there, done that...trying to cover all angles, 'cause I would really like to see this resolved. Been in contact with someone named "Steve" at Flight1, and someone named Wade Chafe, not sure whether he's Flight 1 as well. I don't know why they cannot just delete my forum profile and let me start over. Of course I believe I'm only allowed to use the Proof of Purchase once.Appreciate the help here.Regards,Tom i913900KF (5.8GHz) | Case: Fractal PopAir RGB I Gigabyte Z790 UD AX| MSI Gaming RTX 4070Ti Super 16GB | Kingston Fury Beast 64GB DDR5 5200Mhz | SOLIDIGM P41 Plus 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD | Samsung SSD 870 EVO 2TB | Thermalright Frozen Notte 240 MM Liquid Cooling | LG EVO 42" Monitor 3840 x 2160 120Hz | Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo | Logitech G Pro pedals | Tobii EyeTracker | 850W Thermaltake 80+ GOLD |
May 30, 200521 yr Commercial Member Okay, Tom.Let the other two threads (at this forum) wither and die, and let's just use this thread to try to get you back into the LDS forum. It's much too confusing to try to read all three threads.Just this one from now on...I understand your frustration, but calm and cool wins the day. Wade Chafe is the LDS programmer/developer.Steve Halpern is at Flight1.I would suggest that you contact Steve, and re-ask/re-state/re-engage with him to get your account going again. We have one beta tester who has the same problem with cookies, and it has been a struggle for him as well. Not sure what your machine is doing, but obviously something has changed.Do you have Steve's email address?http://www.pic767flyingclub.com/siggies/ds.jpg The SUPPORT FORUM for Level-D Simulations products: http://www.leveldsim.com/forums
May 30, 200521 yr Author Good idea Daryl. I have resent an e-mail to Steve maybe suggesting he delete my old profile and allow me to re-register from square one. That might be a good starting point. i913900KF (5.8GHz) | Case: Fractal PopAir RGB I Gigabyte Z790 UD AX| MSI Gaming RTX 4070Ti Super 16GB | Kingston Fury Beast 64GB DDR5 5200Mhz | SOLIDIGM P41 Plus 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD | Samsung SSD 870 EVO 2TB | Thermalright Frozen Notte 240 MM Liquid Cooling | LG EVO 42" Monitor 3840 x 2160 120Hz | Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo | Logitech G Pro pedals | Tobii EyeTracker | 850W Thermaltake 80+ GOLD |
