August 25, 200817 yr I am new here, and I have read alot of posts. Why is it that there seems to be alot of people who feel they need to correct someone who asks a question here. What does it matter if they post it here or go to what ever official site. I think that if you take the time to register and read the questions, then post a legitimate answer if you have one, especially alex (j_mo) or what ever his user name is. I have not read one constructive comment from you alex and you wonder why some people get testy with you.In conclusion, this forum is supposed to help people, not belittle them. If you can help then help. If you cant dont say anything.Just my thoughts
August 27, 200817 yr I personally dont own this software but do have access to quite a bit of support material on the real B767 avionics. I have chimed in a few times here. CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro | GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K
August 28, 200817 yr Scott, here is the main issue:If you have a general question regarding operating a 767, then support from people like Mike S is fine, and that assistance is certainly appreciated. But, if you are looking for support directly related to Level D, then you should use the OFFICIAL Level D forum. We have often seen erroneous answers posted here in reply to questions by persons who mean well, but are not part of the Level D team. If you post these questions in the official forum, you will get replies from developers, testers, support persons and celebrities (:-)). The other issue is that people with pirated copies cannot access the official forums, and seek advise elsewhere. We don't support them. BobK
August 30, 200817 yr Hello, Scott-I can assure you the intent of my replies here is to be helpful as opposed to corrective. I'm sorry that this comes across differently to you. It's not uncommon that new purchasers of Level D may forget about the support forum at the level D site. As this subforum doesn't always receive a lot of traffic, I point it out merely as a reminder.I'm not sure if you own this add-on or not. If so, then you should know, as do, that the best support for this product is the developer's official forum.I will echo everything that B. Klemm has said, and, to add one thing, it's also unfair to AVSIM (a free site) to pay for bandwidth unnecessarily. You are welcome to PM me if you wish to discuss this further.Regards,
October 28, 200817 yr Na, I don't buy that...If you know enough to pirate the aircraft, then you'll know about the official Level D forum. It's quoted on just about every piece of correspondence you get from Level D...These losers deserve to be excluded and I, for one, love it. I wish every add-on maker operated like this. October 28, 200817 yr Commercial Member Thanks for supporting Level-D Simulations, Max. I agree with you, and so do the majority of software purchasers. This forum is for the PIC767, not the LDS767. Anyone posting for help with the LDS767 here should post at the official forum at http://www.leveldsim.com/forumsThere will always be protesters to licensed support forums. I'm not sure why... but I think you may be right that most of the protest is coming from losers who haven't shelled out a single dime to support the work of add-on developers.Daryl ShuttleworthLevel-D SimulationsSupport & Documentation The SUPPORT FORUM for Level-D Simulations products: http://www.leveldsim.com/forums
